  1. Ah ha! Thank you redwngr and newdude Funny how GM wouldn't tell about the VIN description change unless I gave them all my contact information to share with their advertising/marketing partners. Nah, I'm good Also interesting that it changed at all, considering it used to simply say "1500 Crew Cab" but I very much appreciate your reply and clarification.
  2. I recently looked up recall information on my 19 Silverado on the GM website https://my.gm.com/recalls as well as Chevy https://my.chevrolet.com/recalls and to my surprise, my vehichle description has recently changed and is now incorrect. These sites state "Currently, there are no recalls or programs associated with your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LD Crew RST/LT-T1" My Silverado is clealry the new model, however, is now listed as an LD by GM. When searching outside vin checkers/decoders the vehicle comes up as it should (2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST Crew Cab 4WD) so it seems only GM/Chevy have now listed my new model SIlverado as an LD. Has anyone else seen this with their 2019?

  5. How do you like your sway bar?
  6. I’m sorry to hear about your truck Carpendj May I ask if your ticking noise was consistent like a clock or more like Bob2C’s video? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. This may be a different ticking noise but my 5.3 ticks non stop! Cold start is louder but it doesn’t go away. This video is after 30 minutes of run time.
  8. These look great! I’ve been looking at getting 17’s too and have been checking custom offsets site. Found this beauty... https://www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery/1008007/2019-chevrolet-silverado-1500-kmc-km234-rancho-leveling-kit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Air lift systems require a minimum 5psi in each bag at all times. When you're running unloaded it's still taking spring pressure off the leaf springs which in turn let's them run looser and allows them to move more than they would if the air lift wasn't installed. If you throw about 250 lbs of weight in your bed, do your springs stop squeaking? Adding some weight to the bed with the minimum pressure needed to keep the bags from collapsing and pinching themselves might fix the issue. Granted, you may not always want weight in the bed but it would help. Painting calipers often lead to over spray which hardens on the rotor so the brake pads can't get the same kind of friction as before. May try getting them resurfaced? 10. I'd put money on the OnStar app integration causing these computer errors. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the info sounds like we are narrowing this down. Do you have the app but just never remote start from it? Do you have the OnStar services in your truck? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  12. That makes sense. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
