Boost automotive just came out with the wireless phone charger for the both style consoles, look at their directions on how they wire it. It may help you with what you need.

No, ran power to it and the switch doesn't light up and the wheel doesn't work.... sorry... its a shame since everything else works.

Went for breakfast at a firehouse, that's their parking lot and yes that are has a few fields that way.

I did a few changes in the last few weeks, I picked up a set of gm new trailboss ranchos, trailboss cv shafts, 2.0 trailboss leveling kit , 2.5 rear blocks and xl9000 rear shocks. Removing the icon stuff wasn't the original idea but the current setup rides pretty nice and it looks good. Yes it handled and felt more controlled with the icons but its pretty soft and smooth now.

Well jimbo, I dunno what to tell you. I never looked at how the stuff that already works worked...lol. I just know what I needed to do to get what didn't work to work...lol

They operate separately, so does the heated wheel. You need to run a wire from the cluster harness plug to the clock spring. Also need tho a better cluster if you have a custom.

Food for thought on this subject. No need to remove them, your sway bar won't let the front end fall that far anyway. Even with the extended coilovers you can put your finger in the gap from the icon uca to the stop. Even hanging on a lift without the wheels when you unbolt the extended coilover the lower arm falls 3/8 of an inch. Still no where near the stops.

Not to sound bad or anything but I haul 2 sit on fishing kayaks with the tailgate down. I ratchet strap them to the bed front and rear. I only go 50 miles at most and it works for me. I would think one that goes in the hitch to support them while in the bed would be perfect for longer trips. I was actually going to build one out of 2 inch square tube.

The factory gm kit you unplug the right headlight and it plugs in between the 2. So your idea with the headlight fuse would probably work fine.

I did the ltz wheel, high country cluster and ran the extra wire for the wheel controls to work. I spent about an hour on it, with the wiring diagram. Powered the pin for the heated wheel in the clock ring and the heated wheel button doesn't light up. There's more involved, it's not that easy. I didnt have time after that so that's as far as I got.

I have the ss3 sport in yellow for about a month now. They are perfect for the heavy fog we get here. They fit perfect and look good in the bumper.

Its probably not what you want, I did clazzio leather covers with that last set of heaters and switches you posted.( clazzio sells a kit like it) They work that good sometimes you need to turn them down...lol. I put the switches on the side of the seat. You can't tell they shouldn't be there..lol If you want factory then just look for a set of front heated power seats and put em in. I just seen a post here about someone adding them.

I doubt that will work, it needs the lin bus circuit for the buttons to work. With out adding the wire its not going to. That wire makes everything on that side of the wheel work. The only thing that doesn't work is the heated wheel, that's another can of worms. The factory cluster won't work since its not setup for that, it doesn't use wheel controls since it has the dial. I'd imagine the cluster from an lt would work but I'm not sure, you would need to speak with wams about. A programmed lt cluster from them would save a few bucks of they do it. I know 1k is alot for just that to work but that cluster is really nice. Wheel buttons for the volume and the phone is what makes it..lol.. The best part I think is when you put it in tow haul mode the battery gauge turns into the trans temp. Pretty nice when towing.

I'm debating do I want to do that swap, I'd rather the nicer door pannels too tho.

You need the wire and cluster.

There have been quite a few, its hit and miss. They did a poll on face book, it seemed like 10% have had problems with lifter failure and an occasional bent pushrod. The mileage goes all over too, from 50 miles to 120k..lol
