  1. This apparently fixed the squeaking once I reassembled the console and it settled back in.
  2. I finally got around to put felt tape in places to prevent the squeaks. I removed the rubber cup holder liberty, then the top rear trim section from the console, and then the large rear section with the air vents and heated seat controls. I drove around with all those sections removed and still had a squeak in the console somewhere. I’ve put it back together now with most of the squeaks gone but there’s still something squeaking even with those parts reduced. Any ideas?
  3. Thank you, I'll try that. Did you remove the plastic section under the rubber cup holder liner?
  4. The springs connected to the hinges at the rear of the center console, where you can’t really get to them, have started squeaking while driving and with the console closed. Anyone know how to quiet them back down? Or get to them?
  5. The kit is 3.5 front shock lift and 2 inch block in the rear, so 2 inch rear. Should maintain a small amount of rake.
  6. I'm really leaning towards Eibach struts using the OEM spring (not full Eibach replacement strut assemblies), but for about $100 less than rebuilding the front struts with Eibach, I could get pre-assembled Rough Country M-1 struts. I'm leaning towards Eibach because they appear to be softer than Bilstein but still offer good rebound control. Anyone have any experience with the M-1's? There aren't many reviews on the RC site. Or just general thoughts about this?
  7. Anyone else having this problem? The squeaking seems to be coming from the springs connected to the hinges. The springs are not easily accessible because they are inside the console housing behind the compartment and in front of but below the rear cup holders.
  8. It’s a 2019. It’s supposed to be brown. my hands are usually clean with dry skin, but yeah, I do hold it with one hand at the top a lot, apparently.
  9. Any ideas on how to clean this black stuff (dirt and dead skin, presumably) off of my leather steering wheel? I tried meguires leather cleaner and then I tried Bick leather cleaner and didn't really get anywhere. It's actually not visible under usual lighting. This picture has a bright flashlight shining on the steering wheel.
  10. You need to pull the fender liner backwards with a heavy duty zip tie. Look at that older post I have linked.
  11. Thank you. Can I read BCM or module codes from the OBD port?
  12. The passenger window will roll down via the passenger side button but not up. If the child lock was on, it shouldn’t roll down via the passenger side button. I did check though to ensure that the child lock isn’t on. There’s a led on the button that illuminates when child mode is activated.
  13. 2019 Sierra SLT. Passenger window will roll down using the passenger door switch, but it will only roll up using the driver door switch. Seems to work fine when operated from the drivers door. Any ideas?
  14. Has the battery been tested? The voltage doesn't tell you how degraded the cranking capacity in Amps is. I recently replaced my battery on my 2019 because of similar crank/no start issue. Original batter was down to about 60% capacity. The electronics on these trucks are extremely sensitive and picky about the voltage they want to see.
  15. The kit you shared doesn't seem to include longer CV axels.
  16. Why is the axel shifted to the passenger side 1/2"?
  17. I did replace the battery a few months ago when the truck started having trouble cranking with the push button. I'll disconnect the battery and test it.
  18. A few days ago I pressed the Auto button on the left A/C knob and it turned the A/C off and the screen said "Climate Off." So I pressed the On/Off button and it said "Climate Off" on the screen and there were no temps displayed on the knobs. I pressed Auto again and it turned the A/C on but the screen said "Climate Off" again. It functions normally now. A week ago I remote started the truck when it was 100 outside. Less than 5 minutes later I went outside to get in the truck and it wasn't running. I got in and cranked it and A/C would not turn on. It wouldn't do anything. I turned the truck off several times and restarted it, and that didn't fix it. I drove about 5 miles and parked it for 30 minutes and when I got ready to leave the A/C worked fine. About 2 weeks ago, I remote started the truck at night then began driving and noticed that nothing would make sounds. The blinker wouldn't tick. No sounds from the stereo or bluetooth music or calls and no sounds from CarPlay. I turned the truck off and on several times, and it didn't fix it. The truck was normal the next morning. Truck has 85,000 miles on it. Anyone else having similar issues? These could all be unrelated.
  19. Can you post more about the aux fuel tank and connections?
  20. The dealer replaced the fuel control module, the problem hasn’t recurred in a few weeks. It was a daily event prior to that repair.
  21. My father in law has a 2019 Sierra SLT w/ the 5.3L. It has been intermittently turning over repeatedly but not starting or starting anemically and sputtering for a split second before it dies. It seems starved for fuel. The CEL light comes on afterwards. Codes are P129F and U1346. Dealer couldn't recreate problem and said there were no codes. That's odd because my cheap OBD2 reader tells me those codes.
  22. Read this: https://wheelsasap.com/gmc-at4-oversized-tire-trimming-guide/
  23. Make sure the replica wheels have the same back spacing/offset as OEM wheels. Look around the board there’s T1 specs thread maybe pinned at the top with that info. You need to check these measurements yourself, but I think you can go up one size without problems, as in 285/50/22 or 275/55/22. Since you’re staying with the stock front end height, you should measure between the back of the tire and the upper control arm and see how much space you have. Then measure between the tire and the fender or mud flap at its closest point. Then go look at the specific tire you’re considering and compare it’s actual dimensions from the manufacturer to your current tire’s actual dimensions from that manufacturer to see how much bigger the tires are and whether they’ll fit in your space. That’ll tell you most reliably what will fit short of actually fitting the tires on the truck or someone else already figuring this out for you.
