Yeah, I've been going through every video I can find, but they're usually the same locations. As I dig around, I find more and more little ones, so I was hoping there's something showing every single one. When you say "at the connectors", are you talking about the ground wire itself not being seated into the harness well? The thing that's getting me, is the problem seems to happen when my truck has warmed up a bit. So I'm trying to figure out if it's a signal trailing off, or if a ground issue would still cause this. The last couple of times I've looked at it, I just start my truck and dig around and the problem happens after running about ten minutes. I thought it was being caused by a vibration breaking a connection, but doesn't seem to be the case

Update: I found a couple more grounds to check and clean, but the issue is still happening. These are the codes that come up, and the BCM is the main thing I'm looking at. Is there a way to know for sure before getting another and having it programmed?

I had created a post before, explaining some electrical issues I'm having. The main thing I'm looking for right now, is every single ground location for a 2017 Sierra 1500 with the 6.2, if anyone knows if a drawing or something to show me where grounds are that don't stand out. The ones I've found: both sides at the A pillars under the dash at the windshield, the one of the main ones from the battery(the other one disappears under the motor, and I can't seem to get to it. There's also a ground someone had added that goes into the obd reader harness for some reason. Any help and info is greatly appreciated

At this point, I'm willing to pay to find out what's going on and fix it myself if it doesn't involve programming. With the SDGM thing, when I noticed it was messed with, I googled it to find out what it was. A bunch of stuff came up about recalls and info that makes me think it can be an issue, but I haven't been able to look into it much more. I spent half my day out there and gotta quite for the day, but definitely frustrating. I'll look up the tool you're talking about as well

What's a good reader? I've been able to go by AutoZone right when this is happening, but it doesn't throw any codes. I was wondering if there's a tool that can analyze the whole electrical system, but haven't heard of any. Something I found today, is there are several things that have been messed with on the wiring. The Serial Data Gateway Module has been removed before and one of the wires going into the harness for it have been spliced. A couple other harness in the same area have electrical tape on them, and there was a wire coming from the plug in the back of the cluster that had a piece of tape marking a wire. This truck looked new when I bought it with 10k miles, but had a lift and nice tires. I had wondered why someone would trade it in right away, but maybe there were electrical issues right when they bought it? I'll include a couple pictures of what I found today. All I can think right now, is to try and find diagrams for what each wire is, but I wish they weren't so hard to read. Edit: this site doesn't like me trying to add several pictures for some reason.

So I've been chasing this around for a long time now. It's been going on for 6 years, but has recently gotten much worse. I'll be driving, and my gauges all drop and every warning chime goes off. Blinkers and lights still work on the outside, but nothing on the inside. The cluster back light is still on, but gauges not working. At first it would only happen in the extreme heat or cold, and only here and there(like every few months), which made me think there's Expansion and contraction, breaking a connection somewhere. Lately it has been happening almost every time I drive, and in any temperature. Most Recently even my head unit will shut off. If it is not reset by the time I get out of my truck the head unit will stay on and drain my battery. With all of the research, I see similar issues, but nothing the exact same. There seems to be a lot of ground issues With these trucks, and I've looked at everything I can find with no luck. My gut says it's a connection issue of some sort, whether ground or not. Any info greatly appreciated. I tried uploading a video of the issue, but it says the file it too large, even after cutting it down to a few seconds

Has anyone figured out this issue? Mine has done this off and on for the last couple of years, but only when it was really hot outside at first. Now it's just random a more frequent. I do have subwoofers hooked up, but they were done in a shop, and should be properly wired. Can anyone give me some connections to look at and how to tell?

Also, I'm not sure what these are for, but one of those red clips was popped down in the position to disconnect it. I wonder if that, or something else is loose, and when it heats up outside they separate a little. That's the only thing I can think of since it only happens when it's hot

I found the connector, but can't tell if anything's wrong. Here's what I'm wondering, I got a stereo system hooked up when I first got my truck. I'm not sure exactly how they ran the wires, but it looks like they went into this under my dash, because there's electrical tape on it. Is it possible that isn't getting a good connection when it heats up outside and messes with it? The radio doesn't ever cut out though

Do you remember what year the guy is working on? There's a few videos dealing with the instrument panel, but each one looks a little different.

Will the GM schematic show me exactly what I need to look at? I'm at work, but I'll definitely check the suggestions when I get home.

Fairly new to posting here, so please let me know if this question would do better in another spot. I have a 2017 Sierra 1500 SLT. About 2 years ago when it was hot out,I started my truck, and the dash started flashing through all of the warning signs(seat belt, air pressure, pretty much every warning). None of my gauges worked on the dash, but my infotainment system worked, and my lights, including blinkers, on the outside worked. After running it for about ten minutes, it like reset itself and the dash started working. It was under warranty at the time, but only happened once. Now, my truck is no longer under warranty, and it happens every single time it's hot outside. The dealership said they'd have to keep my truck for awhile to let it mimic the issue, and I know they will charge me out the ass just to find the problem, before asking for a couple grand to fix it. Considering it only happens when it's hot, I feel like something is expanding and making a connection issue. Has anyone had any experience or heard of this? I would greatly appreciate any advice on what to look for it how to test the issue. I did use a tester while it was doing it last time, but no codes came up. I'm really confused.
