  1. Thanks for the replies guys. I figured mostly about treating it like AWD. Understanding all the modes and how things can work together is key. I have pretty good "nubby" 20" tires on mine. The engine is really where I was forced into going skimpy. I dunno, it is just as fast I guess, but I just don't like the lean sound of the engine. It just sounds small.
  2. I know, it's June!! Hear me out....I just traded my lease for a 23 Silverado 2.7 Turbo. I never thought about things being different in the winter, as I live in Michigan. So snow driving could come any day now lol. This thing has all kinds of options....stabilitrak, driving modes (snow/sport/sand), and now I noticed it just has 2wd or 4wd. No low or high either. So that adds to my confusion. How do all these things work together!? My old truck i just put it into 4 high and drive like normal. For deep snow, 4 low. So when the time comes what modes or options do I use for: Icy roads Slush 8" of snow Highway driving? So far I can't say I'm totally regretting this truck, but I wish I would have just bought out my old truck!!!
  3. I don't like Chrome on my truck. I'm having the bumpers, grille, and mirrors wrapped in Black Vinyl.
  4. I'm thinking of a look like this with either red or blue badging? Maybe matte black badging??
  5. The time came up way sooner than I had hoped. In 2020, I leased my 7th Silverado 1500 and yesterday was the day I had to turn it in. Normally I get out of leases early by about a year or so. But not this time, coupled with lack of selection and my LOVE for this Silverado I hung on to it for as long as I could. I thought about buying it out and I'm already regretting not doing that. I loved everything about this truck, I put a lot of time and money into modding it just the way I wanted it. That Satin Steel Metallic.......pure SEX!!! And not an option anymore. Anyway, There were several reasons I turned it in. It was going to cost quite a bit more to buy it per month than my lease payment and when I drove the new Silverado I fell in love with the new interior's bigger screen and digital features. It was like driving my 2020, but better. I love driving it as much as my 20. I set out to find one similar.....and failed miserably. So yes, this is a sad day. Selection SUCKS right now. There just isn't much on the lots here in Michigan. As I was looking this one was just placed on the lot with another couple. So, yes I'm happy with the new looks and creature comforts. Having said that, I need to start giving this a new look. I want to wrap the chrome bumpers, grille and mirrors and I'm trying to choose what I want to do with badging and the tailgate letters. I'm thinking red or blue, or maybe matte black??? I'm putting the gloss black wheel covers on this one, like my old one. Those lasted really well and looked amazing for just covers!! Lets see those 23 Black Silverado mods you've done!!! I'm looking to see what looks good on these trucks, besides chrome!!!
  6. I have no idea if this is the right place for this post, but does anyone have interest in a black grille for a 2020 or in those year ranges? Comes with a black bow tie. I paid about 300 or 350 for it if I remember right. Make me an offer, and you pay shipping. Will come in the original shipping box. Need to know ASAP as I'm turning in my lease. If no one wants it I'll turn it in this way. I also have a set of RST black wheel covers for sale.
  7. Love my Du-Ha!!! They really do make great additions.
  8. I dunno if I'd really brag about this one......
  9. Anyone looking for a set of wheel skins? They are molded covers for the RST wheels. I am selling my second set. They are brand new in the box, never used or installed as I have a set already. I've had them on all winter and they have stayed put and held their shine through the salty roads. I love them on my truck!!! Better than plastidip!!! $75 and I'll go half in on shipping. PM me
  10. What's the inside look like????
  11. Correct on what? Both were silverado 1500s. 2018's.
  12. 4 covers. You gotta get your own center caps. Plenty on Ebay to choose from.
  13. Thank God for insurance. 3 years ago a squirrel got into both trucks. We started noticing a headlight out, then the heat didn't work on the other. Both were new leases...less than a few months old. Then a brake light came on! Looked under the hood and there were wires and hoses all chewed up. All told 5300 on one truck, 7800 on the other. AND they found little bastard dead in the bumper. They literally had both front ends tore down to the frame.
  14. Put black wheel skins on! Very tight and nice fitting. I gave another set new in the box if anyone is interested.
  15. If anyone is looking for a set of RST black wheels skins I have an extra set new in the box I'm selling. $75 plus ship.
  16. Mine is a lease, so these fit the bill perfectly! So far I've had no problems installing them. I had to take out the center squeeze retainer. You'll see that when you get them. Mine fit better without them. Funny thing is, one of them had very faint scratches on them from shipping. I wrote the seller and he told me that he would send a replacement. By then I decided they weren't really noticeable. He sent me not just one, but a whole new set!! So I don't know what I'm doing with them yet....but they are perfect with no scratches. Maybe sell them here???
  17. Finally got the center caps so I got to put all the wheel skins on!!!
  18. Nope. These are covers that clip onto the rims. Fit perfectly to the wheel!!
  19. Thank you!! It's much easier and better looking than dipping them. Plus they don't scuff the rims. Here is the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-of-4-20-Wheel-Skins-for-2018-2020-Chevy-Silverado-Gloss-Black-/265069670261?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
  20. Detailed the inside today, just needs a wash and wheel spray. Putting wheel skinz on my 1500 today. I've had them before on other trucks, but these are by far the best fitting I've had. On past ones I've seen a slight bit of the rim, but with these you cannot see any of the rim underneath. What ya guys think? I have to get black center caps. I can't decide if I should get chrome bow ties or all black. My lugs are steal / chrome.
  21. Question for you guys....I put on the black grille piece and blacked put everything. My wheels are getting black covers in a few days. My Silverado is a lease so I'm limiting myself on certain things....namely I don't want to buy wheels and tries. But I love the look of this black wrapped hood and bumper with the fender flares. I'd like to add the fender flares, but what about the wheels? Would my stock wheels look OK here if I got 1" spacers?
  22. SHOCKED!!! Mine gets 15 min with no key fob, 30 when it's inside the truck. Absolutely terrible feature.
  23. I sat in my 20 RST for 10 min while it updated. STRANDED for that 10 min which was really closer to 20 min by the time I was done. My truck WOULD NOT start until this update was done. Nice Chevy. Good thing I was going on a run.
  24. Do you have A link? I bought two sets now, both did not fit. 20 Silverado 1500.
