  1. I just had a similar issue yesterday on 2020 1500 5.3. But my brakes didn't apply, there was just no brake pedal and I almost ran into an intersection. I had all the codes come up service esc, trailer brake, etc. Knowing that these trucks are extremely finicky with low-voltage batteries I put my Noco battery charger on it to see what the volt percentage came out to which was 25% . Not the best reading but the only one I could get at that moment. I cleared all the codes and left the charger on until it read 100%. I Drove it a short distance and everything seems fine so far but man GM has got to get this fixed before someone gets seriously injured with no brakes. A Low battery voltage battery should never disable brakes if that is the cause. I need to drive it more to see if it is truly fixed, but from everyone who has posted similar issues like this none have ever gotten a for-sure cause. The codes that came up on the scan tool were the ones that everyone gets but, the thing that stuck out to me was comm error low voltage across multiple modules which made me check the battery first. I hope this helps. Hopefully, someone who has gotten a good answer will chime in...
  2. they already sold my friend sorry. Thanks for the inquiry though
  3. also the smart driver app when i drive my Camaro says i never get over 80 as well, which i know is a lie. I think its an average speed per ignition cycle or some shyt. but it is deff not correct ever.
  4. not going to work. Take your ticket like a man. And quit trying to get out of it, ITs good thing you didn't get put in jail for felony charges, IE reckless driving if you had a passenger then that's reckless endangerment, so on and so forth, You were doing wrong, Accept the consequences of your actions. Now go pay you fine and move on.
  5. Here is my setup Fuel Vapor 20x10 -19mm offset Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 275/65/20 I put on ready-lift 2inch leveling kit did a mudflap bracket delete with trimming the innermost portion of the flap and zip tied the liner in one spot. No rub at all
  6. here is your oil filter solution https://www.lastdropwrench.com/ You don't half to use the valvomax oil collection bag, the unit just comes with the plug and drain tube. You can order the oil bag if you like its not required
  7. Here is some new black magic give this a try i have heard lots of satisfied customers on the camaro forum https://www.valvomax.com/
  8. NP Buddy The RC HD are adjustable meaning you can slide them in to touch the pinch-weld or pull them out pretty far if you need more step
  9. I have the RC HD2 they mount level with the pinchweld on the bottom, they have plenty of grip and are simple to install.
  10. https://www.americantrucks.com/readylift-silverado1500-2-in-billet-aluminum-front-leveling-kit-66-3920.html#customer_reviews Anyone have experience with this kit? Is it a - sure why not? Or is it a - do not do because ______ is better? It looks easy to install and i cant see any negative in it or foresee any potential problems but this is why im asking, am i missing something?
  11. Hello I dont know if this allowed in here but i will soon have some 2020 RST factory 20inch take offs wrapped with nitto ridge grapplers in 275/55/20 with more that 50% tread left that i wont need as i will be getting new wheels and tires soon. Anyone in GA interested? New the rims are 395 from Detroit wheel and tire website may be cheaper somewhere else let me know. And Nittos new are 1000. So all new this is a 2600 dollar package not to mention TPMS so i will consider taking 1700 for the set. Sorry i dont feel like shipping out of state unless you do all the leg work and tell me where to take them to drop off within reasonable distance to me.. Atl area..... Otherwise i can meet half the distance between me and you. We can work out details if interested. Thank you V/R Greg
  12. Man thats a sweet wheel setup you got. what offset and size tires you running also what size lift and how much cutting did you half to do?
  13. Looks good what is the tire size? and did you do any trimming for the +1 offset?
  14. finally someone with the offset im looking at. I have a few questions, Are you lifted or leveled and, did you half to do any trimming to get the +1mm offset to clear with stock tire sizes? Or are you stock height and just put the wheels on with no trimming or fitment issues? Also can i get a pic from down the side to see how much poke you get out of +1 offset? It looks like you get quite a bit especially if you dont half to do any trimming Thanks bud
  15. LOOKS GOOD how much lift do you have and did you need to trim anything or did your wheel and tire setup work without any trimming?
  16. Hi All I have went through the wheel and tire thread and cant seem to find the answer im looking for. I have a standard 2020 RST 4x4 with 20in rims and want to get the Fuel vapor wheels and want to know what offset to get and what the largest tire size i can get with that offset without cutting or lifting the truck. IE can i get a -18 offset and run 275/65/20s or do i need to go with +20mm offset and get the 275/60/20s or will the 65s fit on the +20mm offset with no rubbing? Thanks for the help

  18. Op can you give any insight into if while the hood is closed and you spray water at the grill and hood near the hood release latch that water would enter the air inlet hole any water droplets or puddles near the hole. The reason i ask is there is another post with 2 cases of people getting hydro lock from going through seemingly small puddles of water and having it go into their intake and blowing their engine which GM is denying their warranty saying it was their fault. Both stories are similar and involve only 3 to 4 inches of water Here is the link to the last page.https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/242789-funky-rant-on-edmunds/page/3/#comments
  19. from my research the air inlet in just to the right of the hood opening latch, its the round circle in the right hand corner of the shroud. Water would need to go hood height and slip between the hood seal and the shroud And be sufficient volume of water to fill the 3inch diameter pipe completely to create a seal and have the intake suck it into the engine. That's going to be quite a bit of water. From looking at the sb air intake install video. the inlet pipe is quite long and has a bend in it to reach the air box. The only other option for water to enter is that the inlet pipe is somehow separated from the air box and enough water is flooded to again create an airtight seal and have water vacuumed into the intake. I am confused how it would happen with the described circumstances. Maby more details from the OPs with the problem will provide insight. IE i drove into a 3 inch puddle and it came over the drivers side of the hood or close to it and so forth and so on. just saying i drove into a 3 inch puddle of water doesn't give us much to go on... More details please, so we can all know how to avoid this disaster.
  20. surprised they didn't hit you with a non disclosure clause. This document proof will defiantly hurt GM's rep but it seems to me that they dont care about it. Playing the numbers game like in the movie fight club. X number of units sold divided by possible cost of recall= if x is less than y then they do nothing.....
  21. following to see if anyone else chimes in with the same issue. so there are 2 similar instances so far.........
