My dogs are back there a lot. I got the full coverage mats because of this. Honestly, makes little sense to clean them when the dogs dirty them up quick. For me, I just take a rag and cover the door hinges (keep grit out) then use the leaf blower.... bam.... 10 second job.

Look at this video to learn how to change from always hot to Accessory. Super easy, just move the fuse one over. Not sure on anything else other than no-go on OEM brake controller. Will need 3rd party.

I'm about 3 months and 3000 miles in and so far truly enjoying the truck. Was going to have the back-up camera TSB (super bright, washed out exposure) performed on first service appointment, but last week noticed that it is no longer needed. Didn't notice any over the air updates and was already on most recent build. I suppose it is possible an OTA happened and I didn't notice. Any case, love it when things fix themselves. While hardly a quality camera, the image is now what I would expect in terms of exposure.

I would keep shopping or maybe wait for better month/factory offers. You should shoot for 20% off MSRP IMO. I got same truck (2020 but with the 5.3) MSRP 50,200 knocked down to 40,200 after rebates, discounts, etc.

I'm at 700 miles on my LT Z71 5.3L 8A. Not a single complaint so far (except for no cup holders in the rear - wtf). A feature I find super useful is L on the stalk. Perfect for around town running with 45-50mph limits. Set to L6 and it doesn't bog or have to drop a gear for modest acceleration. Haven't done any actual testing, but glancing at the instant mpg readout it appears to get better gas mileage than leaving in D tooling at 50mph.
