Is it still under warranty?

I had a similar thing happen on a 2002 Sierria. My problem was caused from road salt corroding away the rivites that held the pads to the backing plates.

Does your truck have radio control buttons on the back of the steering wheel? If it does, maybe you are pushing those by mistake.

That is completely opposite of the way mine rides & drives. Have you taken it back to the dealer?

I went through this when I purchased my 2021 RST at the end of February. Before I went to the dealership, I wrote out a budget for the purchase based on their advertised internet price. The dealer had a $999 add on protection package that was not listed on their website. When the sales manager told me I had to pay it, I said that puts it over my budget. I then got up to leave. The sales manger then said we will take it off. I do not believe they would do that today.

That was the first thing I tried. The next time I got in the truck, the phone auto reconnected again.

I have an Android phone. I did not like Android Auto. I disabled it through my phone settings. I just did a quick internet search & several articles came up on disabling Apple Car Play.

Has anyone installed a screen protector on their infotainment screen?

I had the same feelings toward the new body style the 1st couple of years they were out. Then I started seeing some that looked good. Then I saw the 2021 RSTs & really liked them. I bought one 2 months ago. I had radio issues at the start. Those were fixed. It gets better mileage than any truck I have ever owned. No regrets.

My Silverado manual has instructions for fob programing.

Do you have the owners manual? I have a Silverado. There is a process in the Silverado manual, under keys, doors and windows for deleting all remotes & starting over. The manual says it take about 30 minutes to complete. Your dealer should have reprogrammed all of the remotes to give you access to all the features of the Denali.

Could it be the brain box that is causing the problem? Sounds like the wireless brain box is on a frequency close to that of the truck wireless.

The paperwork said that they did a reprogram. I gave this information to the service department. Technical Service Bulletin #20-NA-221

I love the 20+ mpg. That is a lot better than the 10.3 mpg that my 2013 2500HD averaged over the 8 years that I owned it.

My wifi connections got repaired today. I can now connect to my home wifi & access the app store. I still do not have am of fm radio. They had to order a cable.

I was surprised after my purchase that I had to pay extra for the connect feature. I have not decided what to do yet. If I do, I will look at it as paying for insurance against being locked out, unless I also do not have my phone. My lockout insurance on vehicles with regular keys was that I always had at least 2 keys on me, plus keys hidden in the truck. That has now changed with keyless lock & start. I have to do some more reading on what can & cannot be done with a remotes.

I have the same issue with my 2021 RST. Also when I push the Apps button I get a message to the effect that I need a data service. Check your Apps button to see if you can access the Apps Store. There is a GM bulletin on this issue. I currently have, & you should also, a 30 day trial Onstar data plan. I have not been able to use the trial because of the issues with my system. I also do not have am or fm radio. A week ago I took my truck to the selling dealer to fix the problems. They did not fix any of it. Monday I am taking it to another dealer. Added. It is my understanding that if you do not have the Onstar data plan, connecting to wifi is the only way to get over the air updates.
