Didn’t know if I should just go and buy the up dated one ,and put the money towards that new one ,or flip it like you had mentioned.looks pretty simple to replace.

I have an appointment Thursday,service manager said bring it in so they can check the drive train for codes ,mention to him it shifts sluggish,late shift..and noticed Tran tempt was around 190plus ,,this is after driving on the highway for 3,4 hrs ,I’m sure they aren’t gonna go for a long drive to try to duplicate the complaint,truck still under drive train warranty,asked if there was any bulletins on issue,he checked with someone there and came back saying there was none.just don’t want to throw $125 out the window for a dia..problem not found at this time lol ,any advice would be great .thanks again Scott

Says it came out on oct 6 th 2021 then underneath that it says it no longer available,called dealerships today they said there wasn’t any bulletin on my issue? He said he’d ask and came back saying ,there were no bulletin on my issue,thanks for reaching out ,any other info would be great ,

Does Gm have t.s.b bulletin on transmission thermostat change to a lower tempt ? if so dose anyone have the # of it thanks Scott

Thanks for the info..I’ll have to make an appointment,truck is still under warranty,transmission acts sludges when hot after driving on highway towing a boat ,I’m guess a lower temperature thermostat may help prolong my transmission life and shifting concerns,probably should’ve been a recall all the transmission issues they have ,then again that would be costly I’m sure .

Did GM put out a bulletin on changing the thermostat to make the transmission run cooler ,and shift better ? Didn’t know if it was a recall ,or Just a Tsb bulletin if you were having issues with how the transmission was operating not correctly in order for them to complete the process to switch it out with a new one .any info would be awesome thanks again Scott !

Probably a bad wiper motor .

No problems still going good / loose + cable on battery…bolt not tight moving around very loose

Thanks for the info much appreciated I check the vehicle out today and found my positive cable was very loose I guess when I bought the vehicle they forgot to tighten it I’m hoping this cures the problem time will tell I will keep you posted I like to know when something gets fixed when people reach out to help thanks again Scott If it doesn’t pan out I’ll drop it off at the dealer thanks again

Looking for some help on my wife’s 2017 Chevy Silverado ..it has 48,000 miles odd. She said she was driving along going around a corner slow and the traction light came on in the vehicle quit She said it restarted right up it went a little bit for a while. The second time I was driving the vehicle backing out of a spot the steering wheel got tight the engine stalled like I turn the key off and on my dash it was saying to roll my window up and down I did this and then the vehicle started right back up !! Two days later my son was driving the truck pulling into a parking lot going slow into a spot he told me the wheel got tight couldn’t turn the wheel in the vehicle died out again and then he said the same thing he noticed on the dash it was saying to roll the window up and down on the drivers door. This vehicle is still under a factory warranty I’ve been reading reviews and it doesn’t seem like they really know what’s going on I’m hoping maybe somebody on this site can enlighten me give me an idea on this type of problem or had this type of problem and what was the outcome, Seemingly it’s only done this at a real slow speed ,I’m going to schedule an appointment At the dealership and hoping they found out what these issues are ,I know intermittent problems can be a real pain in the butt could be anything from a bad ground,or possibly wires shorting out , again anybody who’s had any of the symptoms I’d really like to know if they ever found out what was causing it thanks again Scott
