  1. How bad of a rub you get? Any idea what part is rubbing? the tread of the tire or sidewall? From everything I've read, i feel like 275/60-20 is going to be max that will work with Bilsteins only (Set to highest possibly)
  2. You positive a 305 wide would fit? that size puts it at a 33.5” tire. I’m keeping the stock 20” wheels as well. (Off a different 2018, but I like the way they look) I wanted to keep the stock Z71 18” wheels but at the time couldnt find a set from a midnight edition.
  3. ? Early bird gets the worm!
  4. Sent you a message. My daugher would love that hat and i'd love a metal badge for my desk. Thank you
  5. I’ve read and read... now my head hurts! on a stock 2018 Z71, that I assume has the control arms everyone hates, if I install the 5100’s on highest or next to highest setting, with a 33” tire (275/60-20) will I have any rub?
  6. there isnt anything about those valves from the pictures that would make me think they wouldnt last another 130k just fine. Yes, they have some junk on them and don't look brand new, but lets be real, as far as funtionality goes, they will be just fine for a long time.
  7. I have a Blackvue DR590W-2ch in my truck. Came in handy when my door was busted in. Although, it didnt really break the case, was just good to have video of it happening.
  8. well my review will be very simple since i'm really not an audio guy. Last time I had a sub was back in my high school days haha. For me, this was really one of those very stupid purchases.
  9. I’m in the middle of installing that eBay box now with a kicker 8”. I bought his full kit with the kicker Amp.
  10. Curious what the dealer did here? I disconnected my battery and now I get “no internet connectivity” as well on my radio screen. The wifi feeding my phone works fine though.
  11. Picked it up yesterday. With a giant scratch on my tail gate!! They said in the end, they could not do it like they thought. Went from $175 to $300 to nothing. I’ll be adding resistors I guess.
  12. I hate plastidip. Stuff scrapes off way too easy. I'm going to buy a DIY bed liner spray kit, $110 on amazon (Raptor brand). Friend of mine has had good success with it.
  13. I was quoted $300 from 2 different shops to bed liner spray my running boards. I bought a set of the tri-mode running boards and really just want the chrome strip on the sides covered up.
  14. I just dropped off my truck for this BCM flash. So we will see..... I had some body shop stuff on there too, so probably be late this week before I get it back. I'm fully expecting a "Oh yea, we couldn't do it like i thought" type of deal.
  15. there was a thread or a post in a thread where a guy took the Denali tri-mode steps from a crew cab and modified them to fit a double cab. I think he just had to cut off the rear of the top bracket that mounts on the truck.
  16. I NEVER made a payment to GM. Got my 4 or 5k in incentives (and a 7% rate!!) and refinanced about 2 weeks later with a credit union at 2.74%. I ended up not paying any payments at all for almost the first 3 months I had the truck. GM can kiss my ass with there 7% rate. And thats with an 805 credit score. But I should note, I didnt talk them down any on it as I knew I was refinancing asap.
  17. Hell, I’m good for an hours labor haha i talked to 2 other dealers and they never called me back with a price.
  18. Dealer I bought the truck from said $175. It disables the bulb out warning system (which is hyperflash). So the BCM no longer looks for a specific load on the circuit. So afterwards you could run whatever you want. Call and ask them what theyll charge you. I’m curious. I’ve read $50 online before. I’d like that price better.
  19. Don’t forget the option to flash the BCM to disable the bulb out indicator. Ill be having it done pretty soon.
  20. I did 1800 miles last year... that not high enough? :-) I owned my last truck for a hair over 9 years and almost put 20k on her.
  21. I don't know how to do the math you pictured, but I do understand how resistance works haha. 2 resistors (loads) in parallel will have a lower resistance reading than the lowest resistors (or loads) value. 2 ohm and 2 ohm in series is 4 ohm total circuit 2 ohm and 2 ohm in parallel is 1 ohm total circuit So here, you are just adding another load (parallel) as close to zero ohms to help bring down the total load on the circuit and hopefully hit that special threshold in the BCM to work correctly. I gotta say, I wouldn't have thought of that! Smooth thinking!
  22. I was quoted $175 for dealer to flash my BCM to eliminate the bulb out indicator feature. This would most likely solve your case as well. The bcm is looking for the correct amperage and if it’s not within its specs it goes into hyperflash to warn you. Disabling that warming feature should solve the problem. Or send me your BCM and if it works in my truck, I’ll send you line. HAHA
  23. I don’t see how adding resistance in his case would help at all. In my head, he has too much resistance to begin with. This if fully assuming the new tail lights have built in resistors already (in preparations for a non LED truck)
  24. My numbers are made up! I don’t know specifics. Just rough examples
  25. Your BCM is set to read “X” number of amps on each circuit. Your factory LEDs were say 1amp. Your BCM was looking for 1amp plus or minus a little bit. The new XB tail lights are made for the non LED trucks to work right so they have resistors added so they are within a non LED vehicles BCM specs. Say 5amps +/- 10% so now your BCM is seeing 5 amps and thats out of its 1amp range, so it throws an error. Im in exact opposite situation. I wish I knew if we could swap BCMs and that would fix both our issues :-)
