  1. My neighbor had the exact same thing happen to him and there was lot of paint. He used a heat gun and it came right off.
  2. Keyless entry as in pressing the key fob to unlock the doors? I did it myself on my 2010; a Youtube video walked me through the process. I lost a key and bought a new one from https://www.carandtruckremotes.com; they have videos there.
  3. Did you check the voltage of the battery? Optima has a great reputation but possibly the new battery is weak?
  4. My '05 Suburban LT does not have it, my '08 Cadillac CTS has it, and my GMC 2500 HD Duramax does not have it. I've often wondered how the engineers across the different divisions of GM make their decisions about these kinds of amenities.
  5. Empty, I run low 60's front and rear. I've experimented a lot with different pressure from as low as 55 in the front to up to 70 in the rear and there seems to be pretty good wear as long as I stay in the mid-60's. Towing, I'll up the rear to 70, which is close to recommended pressure of 72 for my year.
  6. Wheel bearings? That comes to my mind because I just had to change both sets of bearings on my truck.
  7. 2010 GMC 2500HD - 26 gallons. I swapped it out for an aftermarket tank that holds 45 gallons.
  8. I installed Bilstein 5100's a few years ago and it made a huge difference in ride control. I highly recommend something different than the stock shocks, which were very underdamped.
  9. I've got the same year Suburban; yeah, those button lights on the steering wheel started burning out pretty quick. I don't think any of mine work anymore. And I think at least one of the indicator lights on the dash (recirculate button?) is burned out. Years ago, someone posted on here that they repaired the lights on the steering wheel; it involved disassembly and soldering which was more than what I wanted to do.
  10. Have it tested; seems kinda early for an alternator to go bad.
  11. Do what I did; I went to Transfer Flow and had them take out that 26 gal. tank and had them put in a 45 gal. tank. I'm quite the happy camper now. I can quite comfortably go over 600 miles on a tank.
