  1. Maybe look up your states lemon laws or consult with a lawyer in that field. It doesn't look like anything they do to the truck at this point is going to make you happy with it.
  2. Oh ok. All of the past posts I've seen always said the Frq had changed as well with the refresh. Thanks
  3. In 2019 the extra sensors for the trailering package were included. They made them a separate item that had to be added in the 20+ trucks. On that note. They changed the frequency that the sensors work off of on the trucks tires in the refresh models. I don't know if that applies to the trailer sensors or not. I would think it was changed also. If you do buy a set I'd make sure the frequency is correct on the ones you buy.
  4. Without removing pieces of the console. I don't think there is any real access to the duct to see if it has come loose.
  5. That cool air is basically coming from the A/C vent system. There is no dedicated cooler for the charger. Have you had any work involving the dash or console lately? Where the vent duct may have been taken loose or not hooked back up. On a side note. My wife has a 21 Acadia. We were on a trip one time I was driving. I put my phone down on the charger and it was there at least 2 hours. When I went to pick it up it was hot as fire. I think it was not on the charger like it needed to be and was having a tough time charging the battery. It's not done it since.
  6. I believe there is confusion here as to what you want and what the adviser is thinking. You want to stream video to the trucks infotainment screen? I don't think that will be possible in this gen truck or ever. It's a safety thing unless parked. The adviser I believe is saying that the data you have with the new plan will be enough to stream videos on your phone or pad screen.
  7. Only the shop can really answer that.
  8. On my 20 they did the TSB repair. The day I picked it up I noticed it was still leaking. I called the dealer back and they scheduled me to have the glass replaced. It was replaced by a glass company (not the dealer techs) and all was good. The new window was an updated model to. It had a different part number than the old one. I traded it last year and a few days before that I think there was water around the top of the frame again.
  9. This is why I made the comment on brake pads being a non warranty item. Other than replacing the pads it's about all you can do at this time. Replace the pads and have them inspected at each oil change for abnormal wear. If they happen to be wearing out as they did. Then they can diagnose the problem.
  10. This is not the 1st post I have seen where the rear brakes were worn out before the front brakes. With that said GM defines the brake pads as a wear item and won't cover them as warranty. Yes I agree that the rear pads should not have that much wear as for the mileage you have.
  11. I believe there is a wire that runs out of the bottom of the tailgate. I'd look at that to see if it's plugged in or damaged. Since you said it's both the camera and the tailgate.
  12. Pretty much any unprotected steel is going to get some surface rust on it. You may be in Nevada but that is not where the truck was made. It also may have sat in a humid area for a little while before being shipped to your area as well. Not really a big deal as it's mostly just cosmetic.
  13. Thank you very much for this post!! My truck quit working the other day and I was going to take it to the dealer next week. I did what you posted and it reset the locks in about 30 seconds.
  14. Changed the battery in my 20 Sierra. No issues. Have the new battery ready to put in the truck and swap them out. I think it took me about 15 minutes or less start to finish and tools put away.
  15. I'm with you on seeming incorrect. However I have seen 2-3 posts that guys have been having to replace the rear brakes before the fronts.
  16. If you use the same fob everyday it's not going to say anything. The only time mine says something is when I use the spare keys to move my truck. It will say you are driver 2. Then when I use my regular set again it will say you are driver 1. After I dismiss the message a few times it won't come back again till I use the spare set.
  17. Did any of the 3 trucks you had have a sunroof? My 20 had a sunroof and I didn't have an issue with the roof but my 24 does not and it has a issue every once in a while now.
  18. Unfortunately the dealers have to go by what GM tells them or they won't get paid for the warranty parts or labor for the repair. Maybe call a lemon law layer and ask or look up the lemon laws in your state.
  19. On the 19s and some early 20. There was a recall or a TSB I forget which. That the brake pad monitor was not reading correctly and needed to be reprogrammed. I had to get this done on my August 19 build 2020 GMC. Maybe your truck has not had this done yet?
  20. Am I not looking at the light you want? Here is 1/22/25 it says 2019-2025 Sierra with 22 in stock for immediate shipping. https://www.diodedynamics.com/hitchmount-led-pod-reverse-kit-for-2019-2025-gmc-sierra-1500.html
  21. Just Google "Diode Dynamics Hitch light" it looks to me that Amazon and other sites have them in stock.
  22. Saw this posted on another forum. The pictures that were posted by multiple people were like night and day on the camera view. https://www.morimotohid.com/Morimoto-XB-Backup-Light-Boost-Bar?quantity=1&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=16739567751&utm_content=_c_&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6pn92fbhigMVQ3J_AB1jWw53EAQYAiABEgIAF_D_BwE
  23. I don't know if there is enough depth under that spot for a cup holder. It the Denali trim that is where the trailer brake controller is.
  24. I'm with you on this one! However there were so many guys complaining that GM trucks didn't have a console shifter like Ford did so I guess GM bowed to them.
  25. Out of the last 5 GMCs I've had all with the 5.3. Any speed over 65 the mileage is not very good. Plus any time you use the remote start the MPGs o the dash at least will drop like a rock. Is the numbers you are seeing from the dash readout or hand calculations? I'd verify what you seeing manually 1st.
