I don't think any GM truck (not SUV) has passive locks. You still have to push the button on the handle. As far as the seats go. I think the internals are the same the leather changes is all you get there.
You don't have to agree. However just about every 8 speed owner that comes here complaining about the transmission has the same issues you are describing. GM has a few "fixes" they can try some work some don't. This is a known issue since GM started putting these transmissions in their trucks around 2016/2017. Also there are a few class action lawsuits over the problems but, I don't think those have gotten anywhere.
Did they just change the names of the colors? When I was looking to buy my 20 the dealer had several on the lot. There were 3 different grey/silver colors. I'd classify as light med and dark. I went with the Quicksilver after having a 16 with Iridium metallic. It shows way less paint chips!
Dang maybe GM should have waited another year to introduce it in the trucks.
However purchasing the EX warranty when new is almost a waste of money depending on how many miles you drive. I could have purchased a 5/60 for my truck new at around $1500 when I leased it. I will be up on time before mileage on my 3/36 I got with the truck. Now if I had gotten the 5/60 I would be paying $1500 for only 2 years coverage. As it turns out I purchased my lease and decided to get the 5/60 EX warranty on it. I got the $100 deductible (which is 0 if I take it to my dealer) for about $1800. Now I'm covered to 2027 and 72K miles.
Probably putting all of the Supercruise modules they can get into the higher end SUVs.
I drive mine about 14 miles round trip to work. It's got about 22K miles in nearly 3 years. I change my oil when it's under the 25% mark. That's usually about 5K miles. The dealer shouldn't care when you change the oil they are getting paid for it. I check the oil every now and then it's always between the full and add mark. That is normal operating condition. Now if it was below the add mark I'd probably get it looked at.
The red leds are a warning that flash on the windshield. If you are approaching an object in front of you too fast these will flash and the seat will vibrate to get your attention. That is all they do. It has nothing for the HUD in there.
I'd say you have a lemon law case since it's the same problem 5 times now. 1st I'd look at the lemon laws in your state. 2nd maybe contact a lawyer that deals with lemon cases if GM doesn't do anything.
The rear window leak posts have dropped off considerably in the last year or so. There were 4-5 posts daily when these trucks were new. If it was still happening that much there would be posts everyday. My 20 leaked and the window was replaced with the updated version by a glass shop (dealer called) and has been dry ever since it was replaced in Mar 21.
I just purchased my leased from my dealer. While there I asked about the only 22 they had and the missing options. What I was told by the salesmen was they are telling people that purchase these trucks is that parts will be available in the 4th quarter of this year. However he said they have done a few retrofits already. He also said that you should get a letter from GM telling you where to take the truck to get this done as it may not be at the dealer you bought it from. GM may have you listed as the Utah dealer being the one local to you unfortunately. As stated above I would think that any dealer with the parts need for the retrofit could be able to install them for you. I'd stop by the nearest dealer to you and just talk to the service manager one day about this issue. The least he could say is no we can't do that.
Sounds like you were going toward the sun as stated above. There are spots I drive in the afternoon that will cut it off because the sun is glaring at that spot. After about a mile I turn it back on and continue.
I don't think anybody can answer that question. Because there are delays everywhere in the process it seems by reading post of people waiting on their trucks. 1 may say it took 2 months while another may say I'm still waiting after 5 months. Not as predictable anymore since the Covid shutdowns.
A link to the video would probably help. So that people can see what your referring to because that has not worked up till now.
