  1. 2020 6.2 does anyone else have and or get a lot of carbon/soot at the exit of the exhaust tips? Seems like it is running rich or something mine look like crap and are washed at least once a week with drive through spray washer.
  2. They make a spray can version that has you spray it into the intake just about 1/4" off the throttle plate with a little straw contraption to hold it in place while you spray it in as a buddy or your spouse hold the throttle at 2k rpm's. The straw could come out of the can so keep hold of it. After the entire can is empty wait 10 mins and drive it around for a bit. You also could introduce it just beyond the throttle body most likely at the pcv on the intake manifold just pull the hose off and it will likely suck it in quite readily. The old days you would just pull the line at the vacuum booster and it would suck it right up and after it sets for awhile enjoy the smoke show...lol Hope this helps
  3. Hi, so is there a HP/ TQ gain with this in the performance tune or is it just the throttle sensitivity? Is the the one that has the "locksmith" to unlock the ECM and the TCM?
  4. There are TSB's for this on 20-22's maybe 23's will be included as well ? https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10213032-0001.pdf
  5. Door sticker is what I would go with as THAT is what any insurance company will go with as well. The wheels size is determining the tire ability based upon sidewall available and the "toughness" weight rating of the tire I believe. You can run a higher ply tire in a 20" and likely get close to what an 18" tire can give but my 20's and 22's only have a 500# per tire difference both factory tires. I just use the 20's for winter. 1000#s per tire is a reasonable difference that makes sense, best bet is to see what your tires are rated at. IMO
  6. Totally agree with this GM is a corrupt company with NO moral compass and is happy to take bail out after bailout from the taxpayers and continue to SCREW us without even using 0-20w for lube. We really wanted the Escalade V and are finally in a position to go that far but man that is Rolling the dice with these clowns.
  7. Pan drop and filter but I am going to do the transfer case and both diffs so I will get everything from you all at once but I need to figure out what brand of rear end I have first. ohh and I need to find the trans filter bolts as well. Thank you .
  8. Try Boost Auto parts they have excellent quality with all there stuff https://boostautoparts.com
  9. Going to drain trans fluid and replace with whatever the best $$$ can buy fluid and thought I may add the appropriate amount of this product to it as I have a 10oz bottle laying around already. Has anyone had experience with it? I am not worried about the "warranty" as GM is a POS company that will never honor a claim anyway even though these trannies have had a bunch of issues already.......mine has had none thus far though.
  10. Hi, getting to the point where trans is supposed to be serviced and I see that the methodology is removing the y pipes and dropping the exhaust (PITA) but it sure looks like it would be close to get her off without the exhaust drop. Has anyone had any luck with this without the exhaust drop?
  11. I wanted factory ones as I knew the quality would be good, as you stated there are a gazillion types out there and I see some rusted through and crappy looking. Good luck on your search and getting what you want, I have found online GM parts suppliers are cheaper than the dealers. GMparts.com PArtsdirect blah blah
  12. Yes, wheel to wheel, I thought I might have to reach up in the bed and wanted the step, but I ended up with a hard cover and never reach up over anyway. No wierdo rust or anything, 3 winters in the PNW at least one washing per week to keep ice melter from ruining things.
  13. Maybe another angle helps
  14. short box, about 2" from the front mud flap and the same from the front of the rear fender protection plastic, maybe a slight but more distance on the rear than the front but close to the same
  15. I gave $345 for mine that was Pre-Biden.. but if you are patient you will find a deal I am sure. Mine are crew cab length.
  16. Bought mine on Ebay as OEM take-offs for peanuts they look excellent and are durable.
  17. Honestly I was ignorant to the fact that it had one, TBH I just looked it up after your statement and funny thing is the search showed a recall for leaking oil cooler lines! GM really blew it with these engines, I have great power and love it but carrying a 55 gallon drum of oil with me on trips just has me pissed and looking for any solution to try and extend the life of it. Thanks
  18. Looking to add one and wondering what experience you have and or any recommendations with it. No really heavy towing etc, just looking to help prolong the life of the pathetic and sickly 2020 6.2 that GM made out of Chinese scrap metal. TIA
  19. One of the dumbest posts ever given the context of the post from the OP, 67K for a truck with 40K on it and you drive to AZ and back and the MOFO has used 2 qts of oil. Now THAT is stupid and the manufacturer should be sued. 8 qt system for a reason..lol
  20. Same thing here truck is shiny and gorgeous and uses more oil than my 1933 Hot Rod or my old Ford tractor. GM is humping me like the guy on Deliverance. Filthy B*stards, I will NEVER buy another GM after this even though they are offering 1.9% on he HD's..lol They are so stupid that when my oil does not register on the stick, they call it half a qt low and I say hey MOFOS I have a qt right here lets pour it in, they say well lets pull it into the shop and uhhh you are not allowed in there for safety reasons Hhahaaa on me. it makes me want to go on a window spree at night with a hammer .....just sayin. FOCK GM they KNOW this is a problem and are burning us as they get another HUGE bailout from the taxpayers for their Biden EV screw ups.
  21. Where can I get the oil sample tested and how much will they need?
  22. So, Grumpy what oil do you suggest for these 6.2 engines? I looked at some Dexos 2 stuff ..............$20 plus per quart or just pick randomly off of the chart that the Dexos 2 link goes to. I am getting screwed by GM right now on my 6.2 but would like to extend the life of it as long as possible at 49K now.
