  1. It takes like 1 hp to run the blower when your foot is not in it, this guy likely doesn't even own a vehicle with a blower. I only get like 12 mpg anyway so what is 2 less and that is likely not even accurate. There is a REASON whipple has a 3 year warranty on them. I know this is an old thread but I would have bought that truck in a second.
  2. what pan are you looking at?

  4. I have a Lockerdown vault and it has been excellent for the same use as you have mentioned, paired with a sneaky pete holster I am 99.9% covered in ALL places. https://www.lockerdown.com/c-3-locker_down_console_safes.html https://www.sneakypeteholsters.com/glock-19-holsters/?page=2
  5. Strange, what year is your truck? Most fall back into "normal" mode and must be switched at each start up
  6. K buying 2 cases (even cheaper)of it instead of Amsoil. Based upon you two geniuses input..LOL
  7. Lazy Basta*ds didn't want to drop the Y pipe but sucked up all the gravy jobs that also "didn't need to be done" this is why dealer service gets bad names plus if you ever were to see the crew working back in the shop you likely would not let em rotate the tires much less anything else. Our local Lithia group has hired ZZ Top AND Post Malone to work here. I had to Put up Post Malone as I had never heard of him but saw him on CBS Sunday morning as one of the TOP Artists of the day, we had never heard of him.
  8. Thanks Grumpy, what sucks is that oil had less than 2k on it so "toasted for some time" makes me say YIKES! GM Delco installed at dealer for oil consumption test. You know what I have in it now and just passed 500 miles to drop filter, but tore right pec yesterday so everything is on hold. Air filter has since been cleaned and oiled (RotoFAb) Very saddened by how this engine is turning out, wifeys old Escalade had a 6.2 140K when we sold it, never any oil consumption to speak of etc. After I dump this oil I will switch to some high dollar stuff and am planning on the AutoRX with each oil change for the next couple years. Of course I have 10 quarts of Kirkland 5-30W dexos and 5 quarts of Supertech 0-20W on hand ....lol Who could have guessed all this $$ for such poor quality, this truck was the most $$ I have ever spent on a vehicle I am 58 years old. Blah blah Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and input.
  9. Guys, I am ignorant as to what this means and could sure use some help deciphering it TIA
  10. GM parts direct shows this Front disc Brake Pad Kit (Replaces 85524066) Part Number: 85663434 https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/search?search_str=front+brake+pads
  11. Duralast are good, raybestos is very good but definately crawl around and look for yourself, the dealers are incompetent in my experience and hire any long haired, tattoed ear pierced guy that wanders in off the street..lol Yes I am generalizing and opinionated but I am allowed to have an opinion.
  12. Cheaper than an insurance claim though and I sometimes have to leave my truck in a Motel or Hotel parking lot, I do have a faraday pouch for the fob that blocks the signal well enough that even sitting in the drivers seat it will not pick it up. Auto theft is rampant in some areas and I don't always know the "turf" lol
  13. Had a 64 Falcon 3 on the tree, that was a LOOOONG time ago. But yes there are videos of theifs getting thwarted by manual trannies.
  14. Yeah I know it is VERY easy to put in and works excellent!
  15. 5 seconds on my memory and Boost auto parts sells the jumper for $20 bucks leaves a Hundred in my pocket... And No buttons to push or fondle.
  16. Glad to hear it, I myself bought the Pulsar and have not worried about buttons nor do I have a dead battery. Nor do I have to fondle my shifter to disable any phony EPA/Govt. garbage. To each there own.
  17. Found this and ordered it up for when I am not parked at home, I know some will say disconnecting the battery every night and sleeping with it is free but I think others will find this helpful. https://41twentytwo.com/product/vehicle-kill-switch/ Will post how it works out.
  18. Well I thought it may be of interest to some, obviously there is a market for it and I certainly would not want you to miss the joy of Focking with that button everytime you drive or driving around playing with the shift lever Cheers
  19. Looks pretty darn good!
  20. Guys, I thought this may be of interest to some, I know I HATED the damn feature myself. https://www.smartstopstart.com/chevy-buick-cadillac-gmc-products.html
  21. Post up a pic with all the lights on...........
  22. Thanks, I will count the bolts tomorrow morning!
  23. Hi, guys another question, planning on both diffs, transfer case and Trans fluid and filter, but not sure what and how much fluid to buy. Was planning on Amsoil fluid I have a 2020 6.2 with Z71 and locking rear diff 3.23 gears. I looked for a RPO code sticker but don't see one anywhere. Do you know how to tell which of the 2 diffs 8.6 or 9.5 ring gear shown on the fluid websites I have? TIA
  24. I just thought it seemed weird to be soooo black on a gasoline engine.
  25. Trying some Advanced Lubricants engine cleaner now with a straight 30 grade diesel engine oil for 3k miles with a filter change at 500 miles. then will use a Higher quality designer synthetic and at least a 5-30w with another cleaning product that was suggested to me but in a measure amount to "prevent" buildup not to clean it. Product is called AutoRX plus. This I HOPE will "fix" the consumption issue, truck has 49k on it amd has had a pretty good life of oil changes and premium fuels.
