  1. THAT is damned expensive at 70k, I agree with the other fella some chain and an extra bolt hole on engine, weld other end to the frame.
  2. I agree that 70k seems low for them to be worn out but the torque motors do eat them. Likely you could change them yourself at home in the driveway on a weekend easy enough TBH.
  3. Are the mud flaps extenders onto the stockers?
  4. Purolator 1 is a great filter, I get mine on amazon. Check your spark plug wire carefully going to that cylinder and be sure it is pushed on securely to the plug.
  5. Sorry my bad.. 2020 Silverado 1500 6.2 70000k miles babied mostly all its life
  6. I never needed any brake service mode crap, I just did not turn on a any electronics at all during the procedure and I unplugged and replaced sensor that was hard to not damage the connector..and was the hardest part of the job. Bought the best pads I could (Bendix) ceramic and it was super easy and fast to do no worries just tackle the job, easier than the old style with these pins, no need to remove fluid either just back pads off slowly and enough to insert new ones. Cake walk.
  7. So, we were on a trip and truck was running great no issues and had put 1600 miles into the trip. Driving along and truck went into limp mode with a P2101, P0152, and a P0300 code. I had a Jet performance TB on it for about 40k and had sprayed cleaner into it and wiped it all out but did not remove it before trip, I also had cleaned the air filter and MAF sensor as well as changed the oil. P2101 or P02101 was referencing a dirty TB or TB Actuator, so I took it off and cleaned it til it shined like a mirror inside and out. Reset code and drove GREAT for about a day and a half then thru the code again, so I triple checked everything and was stressing out about driving home with trailer attached and it going into limp mode when on the freeway. So I ordered a low priced Amazon alternative TB as where I was there were none locally in stock nor at the GM dealer. It worked perfectly til we got home and now these 2 codes in the title came up and I reset em and they came back. Where do you guys think I should start? I can do most anything mechanically but don't want to start buying parts. I looked up the codes of course and the likley culprits but I know there are some GM techs on here that may have a better gauge on things than a Google search or GMcodes.com ..lol TIA Gents
  8. Arrows should be pointing down when reinstalling
  9. Fortunately wifeys is not one if them so far with 67k miles on it and the extended CPO warranty but did not know that. Thanks
  10. I say forget the cute and fun stuff like longer ranges and try and build engines that stay together.
  11. Me neither no new GM's for me except the handbuilt engines in the Escalade V and the higher end Vettes for a long while
  12. Are these if you don't have the Z71 package or overall better and stronger coverages? I know that big plastic piece under the front of the engine is BS what one are you guys replacing that one with? TIA
  13. Still running mine since Oct 2020 when I bought the truck, seems just fine still.
