  1. I don't see adaptive cruise being a feature most WT owners are looking for if they use the truck for business...could be wrong. All the fleet trucks at my work are starting to come with these features now as it's not any cheaper to get them without. (FORD)
  2. The biggest difference between the 18" and 20" tires is side wall, weight and truck configuration. I would also guess the wheels themselves dictate differences in towing/payload limits.
  3. You will be fine until you can replace them. Never seen a spare match tread depth of the other tires unless you are doing a 5 tire rotation, not really a thing on a dually. BFG is has the KO3s now, I am running Toyo ATIII's and tow 16K with them no issues.
  4. Sounds like you are using the "normal" cruise control....be sure you hit the adaptive cruise button on your steering wheel.
  5. I have noticed this on my 2024 3500. Its very faint, doesn't do it all the time. I can only really feel in the seat of my pants. I can think I have have only noticed it maybe 4 or 5 times in 6000 miles.
  6. Yes, batteries can go bad in 18 months especially in the summer heat. Look in your owners manual regarding moving the shifter
  7. How far out are we on the Derringer for the 2024 trucks?
  8. One of the biggest advantages of a Dually for sure, I have had some good crosswinds in New Mexico and Texas and never got any sway that as noticeable. I would always look to see what the trailer was doing and it was tracking straight always.
  9. I think the issue with the Primacy tires are exclusive to the 2024 Dually having the the first year for a 235x80x18. For some reason it seems the manufacturing of this particular size is off perhaps...
  10. Fuel Wheels 20" Toyo ATIII 295x60x20 I uave had 3 GM duallys trucks with the 18" primacy....all had wobbles at freeway speeds, road force helped on some and others a little.
  11. Problem solved with new wheels and tires. The 18" primacy suck.
  12. The OEM NAV is Google maps, so the answer to your questions is no - its not a function supported by Google. I wouldn't invest much time in the OEM NAV unless you will continue to pay for it after your trial.
  13. I have a 40 foot trailer and it has worked flawless. As long as your last axle is not more than 23 feet from the receiver it should be ok. From the owners manual: "The trailer tire pressure sensors can transmit up to 7 m (23 feet) from the hitch receiver of the vehicle. A trailer must be electrically connected to the vehicle before starting the sensor-to-vehicle learn process."
  14. On uphill climbs I try to keep with the flow of the left lane traffic and not get caught behind the semis who are crawling up the grades and lose momentum. Generally most people let me over or there's enough gap in the traffic I can get over no problems, I them move back over in the right lane. I have not looked to see what gear I am in, but its usually around 60-65 mph and the truck holds that no problem.
  15. On the Ram I found the gear indicator was useful with a 6 speed AISIN trans, however, that feature I had to enable via ALFA OBD as it was not enabled from the factory. I find with the 10 speed there has not been any need to lock out the gears on any uphill climbs with a 16K trailer. As for cruising speed, the best speed is anything showing under 2000 rpm.
  16. My LTZ DRW, which is pretty well equipped including sun roof, has a payload of 5400 lbs....buy right and one time. I carry 200lbs of extra fuel and you always acquire a lot more gear than you think both in the basement of a 5th wheel and inside. We added a washer dryer combo so that's another 400lbs alone....you can quickly eat up 800 lbs of spare payload capacity on a SRW truck. As for a daily driver you quickly realize that its not really that tuff to park a dually. If I think the spaces are a little tight I just find a spot a little less congested, my wife who drives a Chrysler 300 quickly adapted to the dually as well. I love my GenY hitch.
  17. If you are going to go to a 3500 anyway, might as well spend a little more and get a DRW.
  18. No, there will be no brake lights in conjunction with the exhaust brake. There is with the use of adaptive cruise if equipped.
  19. My front tires had an initial road force of 60 - the lowest they have gotten them to is 40. Discount tire told me that they would like to see that number at 30 or lower. Right now there is only some steering wheel wiggles on certain freeway conditions.
  20. This tool seems to be handy in setting up the sensors - https://www.amazon.com/Automotive-Programming-Activation-Compatible-2006-2023/dp/B0CP28GJK6?th=1
  21. Did you think the Primacy were noisy, not like mud terrian noisy, but like they seem to be road noisy?
  22. Iam going to ask the dealer when I get back to town. Is there a TSB? I really like this truck, once this little gremlin is gone it should be just a matter of filling it with Diesel and let it eat.
  23. Its like the Nexen tires on my past Rams, I always changed them out . Unfortunately I cant on this truck until the tire manufactures catch up on this size - BF Goodrich is suppose to have the KO3s in a 235x80x18 next year.
