  1. It's like propane but in a yellow can
  2. Gonna be doing a master cylinder and a replacement radiator on an 06 express 3500 today. Did the radiator last year but has a crack in one of the tanks so got a warranty replacement through rockauto.com. Hate working on vans but these should be pretty straight forward
  3. I didn't see instructions in the box so checked their website and didn't see anything. Guess I could email them about it
  4. For those of y'all that have installed Bilstein 5100's in the REAR, did you install piston or body up? The lettering I suppose is to be upright which means piston down. This is how it was on my 5160 series shocks on my 02 on front and rear. Any insight would be great gents!
  5. Rock auto is the best, half the cost of any local parts store for the bearings. I needed mine bad so I ordered through rock auto but also at auto zone and returned the ones I got from rock auto to auto zone lol
  6. Definitely thinking about getting a clear bra on the front, hopefully the auto body paint is better than GM factory chip paint lol
  7. Supposed to bleed that one first
  8. If I didn't live 3k miles away I'd help you. Be done in no time with everything
  9. Fender flares would be the smart choice since I did say I wanted to keep the paint in better condition than before lol. I just wanted more stance but then again I don't want to chip up my paint. I'll just save the cash and keep it as is. If I were to do fender flares I would lift the truck 6" or so, these trucks look real good with the rivet style flares IMO. Different wheels may be in the future, with a little more offset but don't want to push it past the fender. Gotta remember I'm gonna start looking at getting an LBZ around this time next year so gotta save up [emoji16]
  10. Well, as some of yall know I wrecked my truck about 3 weeks or so ago. Over 14k in damages, claiming 6+ weeks for repair. Cant wait to get her back, forgot what its like to be without a truck/ your own vehicle for so long. Anyways, since shes in the shop right now figured itd be a great time to collect some parts for her. So far I have new Bilstein 5100 rear shocks in my possession. Ordering fronts here soon. I will most likely have to reinstall the step lights as well since my bumper was tore up from the accident. Also plan to finally get around to installing footwell lighting, at least in the front footwells. The rears are questionable, not sure if I wanna run extra wire for them or not. Also going to start taking better care of the paint since she'll have a fresh new coat on her when I get it back. Guess that means hours of waxing, clay barring, sealing and whatever else needs to be done. Plan on keeping her a while so gotta treat her right. May end up ordering an HID kit for it as well for the lows and just get a matching LED color for the fogs. The thought of a bigger rear block has gone through my head but since I tow so much the hitch is set up perfectly plus bed access is nice, not too high. When I get her back Im having my buddy bring home a piece of one inch round stainless tubing as well as some stainless flat bar so I can build a three pole holder down one side of the bed. I'll use the bed tie down anchors to keep it tight. Should look cool and have easy access to my poles. I'll be mounting the stainless steel fishing rod holders to it, think of it as a bath towel holder with an L shaped bracket on each side and the pole holders mounted to it. Should serve its job quite well. I've also thought about calling and seeing if they have ordered the headlights for my truck. If not, I was thinking about seeing if the insurance company would let me get these instead. Thoughts on them? I think they would look pretty cool, especially if the projectors are actually worth it http://www.anzousa.com/headlights/projector-headlights/chevy-silverado-1500-2014-projector-u-bar-style-headlights-black-clear-with-chrome-trim-amber.html I like the DRL U bar running lights, feel like they would look good on a truck with some slight stance to it. Wheel spacers have crossed my mind, 1.5" all the way around. Give it a nice beefy look. Hmmm
  11. I've yet to have an issue using it, lots of people do. Just gotta clean it afterwords cause it gets real greasy and such
  12. Wd40 takes off the remaining adhesive, I've heard good things about the rubber wheels for the drill, have one myself just haven't used it yet
  13. You're supposed to always replace u bolts because they stretch and the amount of torque they are under, I've personally reused my u bolts up to 3 times with no ill effects
  14. Fully boxed frame Newly designed cab mounts New cab design Just a few big ones
  15. I've been let go twice for doing 15 over. Concealed carry got me out both times, idk how but they like to hear that people carry. Just tell me to slow it down and have a nice day
  16. There are a few reports of it happening to the HD trucks as well but not nearly as widespread as the 1500's. That could also be because the fact that most people don't need an HD truck so frankly there are fewer of them plus most HD trucks are company trucks and 99% of those guys could give two shits since they trash em anyways
  17. Nice truck, the new f150's have grown on me the past 6 months or so. The thing that hasn't grown on me is the ecoboost motors. I personally would have opted for the 5.0, but in reality an HD truck is really more suited for my needs. I'll wear this truck out before too long
  18. Yes. It's every trim package, cab style, bed length, suspension package, etc. There is no rhyme or no reason to it
  19. Improves off the line performance, capable of towing more, correct your tow rating for larger tires, there are lots of reasons a gear swap is awesome. Necessary? Nope. Make the truck drive a lot better and closer to stock with larger tires and wheels? You betcha!
  20. Pics and links to everything you used would be awesome!
  21. Led backup lights mounted in the bumper for a flush mount finish
