They went off when I was bent over the console so when I came back towards the window they cushioned the impact. Very lucky to be able to walk away from it

Yeah I'm good. Only a sore elbow from smacking the center console and a small cut on my left thumb knuckle Went around a bend at 45, got distracted by my water jug in the back seat, ended up on my side of the roads shoulder, the road had a pretty tall drop off so I was trying to climb back onto the road but when I finally got back on the road the wheels were turned too far so I ended up in the other ditch. It felt like I was almost sideways in the roadway. Both side airbags deployed which I truly believe is why I didn't get tore up as bad as I could have. I cut out the passenger side airbag to climb out lol

The shops also have their refrigeration licenses cause if you get caught doing malpractice it's close to a 10k fine. Refrigerant is fairly cheap at wally world, and the leak detection kit is usually there too. A good vacuum pump and a set of gauges is all you need

Found out I have an open recall on my truck but GM hasn't come out with a fix for it yet. Thinking I should take my truck to the body shop first, get all that stuff fixed, then take it to them and they can warranty the paint chips from there. This is why I like old trucks with already bad paint jobs, don't feel like I have to maintain them like I do this one lol

I had my 02 lifted 7" same aluminum driveshaft I have now and never replaced it, never gave me issues, no vibration. So yes it'll be a- OK but I've never heard of any type of spacer for a driveshaft you would have to go to a custom driveshaft shop and get a custom longer driveshaft at that point. But like I said that gap is miniscule so nothing to worry about

When I replaced the 5.3 in my 02 it still ran, a little sluggish and burned a lot of oil, but you couldn't kill that thing. I bet if I kept it in the truck it still would have outlived all the transmissions [emoji23]

I love seeing high mileage trucks personally, it's like a sense of pride to me lol

That lbz would be perfect without the stupid chrome pieces on the lower half of the door!

Idk how yours is still intact, I've gone through like 4 60e transmissions since I've signed up here, probably the tune of had on it along with the oversized tires lol
