  1. It doesn't protrude from the cap rails much, like mine isn't a low profile, Ryan's is. His doesn't have a tall upper portion like mine. Here's mine for comparison: See how tall the upper portion is above the rails compared to Ryan's?
  2. Lol its not even that big, quite small actually. Just looks big due to the bed being so small
  3. These would be for your high beams (I went with 5000k): http://www.vleds.com/9005-ultra-lmz.html These would be for your low beams (not sure if it is recommended that you use the 45w LED in the projectors or if the 25w would be better): http://www.vleds.com/h11-ultra-lmz.html These for the fogs: http://www.vleds.com/shop-bulb-numbers/5202-9009/5202-lmz.html Says right on the page that they will not fit the 2014+ GM trucks I read somewhere about how the DRL is setup on these trucks that you should run an HID kit with the capacitor for the low beams because of it. That's why I have one HID kit and one LED kit going in. Plus, the low beams are always on at night while driving. So my high beams will be instant on and off with no time needed to "re- heat" after flicking the high beams off. That's how I had it setup in my 02 Silverado, kind of a pain but if you only kept them off for 5 seconds they would be right back where they were. Oh, and for the low beams I got some LED direct plug n play bulbs. Doubt they will put out anything close to stock on the road, but at this point it will be more for looks so the color isn't off in the front
  4. Ordered a set of LMZ Platinum 45w LED's for my high beams. They were 160 a set last week, guess they marked them down for the weekend plus 5% off so I got them for $130 to my door. Been holding back on pulling the trigger on them since I'll be installing my HID's when I get the truck back from the body shop, I can just take care of these too while the headlight is off. Also reordered the wheels I bought the other day off eBay through Amazon, saved $60 even after taxes. Plus they are Prime shipping, so I should have them before my trip to PA this weekend
  5. Yeah basically, feels like it's throwing you back and forth
  6. I think torque converter would be more related to it shuddering while driving. Well, I guess if it's out of balance it could cause vibration too
  7. Thanks man, can't wait either!
  8. Pulled the trigger on some DC Gunmetal 7 wheels. Half an inch more offset than stock, should look good IMO
  9. Pulled the trigger on some DC Gunmetal 7 wheels. Half an inch more offset than stock, should look good IMO
  10. You charge 'em a delivery fee?
  11. My truck would probably be at the same mileage if it wasn't in and out of the body shop for the past 3 months
  12. Access to the high beams blow, plus if you install HID's or LED's it makes it easier to have the assembly off the truck
  13. Definitely a mod, I would love to know what it takes though. Bet it's a good bit of work
  14. And to chime in regarding the EBC green pads, I think I originally had the 6k series bc it had better performance compared to the 7k and goodness were they dusty as all get out. When they finally wore out in 40k miles I went with Wagner Thermoquiet pads and those were so much quieter, sacrificed just a bit of stopping power, but the dust was 90% less. Totally worth it IMO, plus they were easy to get ahold of at Advance Auto, didn't have to wait since I needed brakes like that day lol
  15. Oil change, tire rotation and plugged a tire on a work van today. Also applied rain-x to 3 of the most used trucks and mounted new rain-x branded hybrid wipers to them as well. Throughout next week I'll apply it to the other vans and trucks. It was just too hot to do today, got a late start as well. Now hopefully these guys won't gripe about not being able to see in the rain lol, I personally believe this should be applied to every windshield out there. I have never seen a negative side effect from it and it's cheap and pretty straight forward to execute
  16. I did the write up on the hydroboost and also upgraded the fronts to the bigger 13" or 14" rotors (cant remember) as well as the dual piston rear SUV calipers as well as stainless braided lines (all on my 02 of course). That truck stopped as well as my new truck does
  17. That hood would look even better with a high country grille IMO
  18. I have a 2" level and had the same clunk as you. Mine was caused by a bad upper ball joint, replaced both upper control arms loaded with ball joints from Moog for $160. Truck only had 44k with the level kit on it, 54k total
  19. Full time job now? I remember you used to work in a factory of some sort if I recall correctly
  20. I'm pretty sure it would still run around its 192 degree mark, I know my 02 with a 180 thermo ran at the same temp as stock
  21. Just kidding, if I went with LT275/70R18's, same tire, it would be around $30 cheaper a tire
  22. I've looked at tire pricing, it's actually cheaper to buy my current tires (LT275/60R20) as compared to 33x12.5r18's. I attribute that to the width factor
  23. I like them, I've wanted them since I had my last truck, but forking up that money right now doesn't seem too smart. Obviously it would be good for the future sets of tires because they will probably be cheaper than $300 a piece, plus the wheel cost is lower than a 20"
