  1. Thinking about getting these as a winter set of wheels and tires (if they fit lol) think they'll look halfway decent?? Thoughts??

  3. Amazon has em, mine fit okay could be better
  4. I've had both DDM and Morimoto, and hands down the Morimoto have a much better build quality. Don't get me wrong, the DDM never gave me issues on my 02 Silverado but the Morimoto kit is much higher quality, I just felt better putting it on a 50k+ truck
  5. Have had my Morimotos in for about 2 months and love them
  6. Those ls2 tires were junk when I had them, got 39k sketchy miles out of them. Glad I have some all terrains now, my other choice would have been a Michelin tire
  7. Maybe for that reason lol
  8. Would you like me to rename this and move it to the vehicle builds thread?
  9. Not sure if I'll ever buy them personally, kind of on the fence of a 2500. That's why they're sitting in my wish list lol. If I were to buy them then yes I would install them myself. Doesn't look like much to it. As for the compressor you would want to mount it where it will stay relatively dry with good air flow and not get too hot, not many places on a truck for that, considering the engine bay gets quite hot lol. I'm sure any off road shop would be more than happy to install them, hardest part I think is running the lines for a compressor and the compressor wiring
  10. Sounds like my Volant intake, but mine cuts out at certain rpm bands, and it's quiet at cruising rpm's as well. Give you the exhaust sound without an exhaust. I've always been curious what it sounds like on the outside if you even hear it like you so in the cab
  11. It's the golf ball effect from Mythbusters, right?? Lol
  12. I've had this one saved for a while now on my amazon account. I like this one because it has the internal jounce bouncers which means you can run them with no air without damaging the bags. It comes with line to manually fill them, or you can buy an auto air compressor kit for around $400-500 doll hairs Air Lift 88204 LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Spring Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IX0CQDS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_MrFgybB63MSHB
  13. That concept pic looks horrendous
  14. Gotta be an issue with the safety neutral switch on the side of the transmission, probably slipped out of position by a hair, doesn't take much
  15. I wish they would have put a small high country emblem on mine, I think it'd look good
  16. Oh I was thinking like a 7 inch lift kit lol I was gonna offer you a price haha
  17. I don't know, the 16+ paint matched front clips have really grabbed my attention. Not enough to render trading my 14 in, but if I was in the market again, they would definitely catch my eye. Now the new Super duty ford's are, uhh, hideous for the most part
  18. Is this the DOT approved pod for the Sierras?
  19. Not looking forward to doing mine, but I know that's the only way it'll get done right because around here everyone seems to half ass everything, especially the drive thru car washes. Don't clean worth a damn
  20. Tell them before they start not to put the sticker on the window. I didn't get the badge or sticker. I bet someone is gonna tell you the warranty will be voided if you don't have the badge installed lol
  21. I'll try and get a pic of mine when I get back to the warehouse. Show you what I mean
  22. Good deal, got mine for $90. May just buy another to have on hand lol
