Hey All! New to the site and new Chevrolet owner. I have a 17' Silverado in the Scar'e blue (or deep ocean metallic) Anyway its new to me but only has 30000kms (18700 miles) on it and I seem to notice the paint is weak! I have a ton of scratches on the rockers where the pervious owner must of dragged his feet to get it and even on my box right after the mud guard where its rocker guarded, i;ve noticed chips. Now its cold here in northern Ontario, but I bought a paint pen and spring is around the corner anyways! Do any of you have this issue of weak paint? and if so do any of you know about the strength of the primer (like will it take a while to rust?) Thanks !!!

So I was watching hockey last night and saw this new Silverado commercial, and one of the featured trucks caught my eye. I believe its a Trail Boss with the optional 22" wheels, but what color is this truck? IMO it looks to be Northsky Blue but it looks much brighter here than in the pics I have seen.

Hey Guys, I’ve noticed that a friend of mine has the blue LED lights all over his dashboard, he says it came like that since he purchased it. He drives a 2016 Chevy Silverado & mine is 2017 but I don’t seem to have this option. Both our cars are LT 1500. Any tips or guides on how to activate it (if possible). Thanks ??

Sorry for the last post, an image URL went bad. Anyway, I have for sale a 2014+ GMC sierra all terrain grille with color matched bezel. It came off my truck with only 10k miles on it. I had the bezel around the grille custom painted cobalt blue metallic to match my truck. The bezel is removable so the actual all terrain grille can be used on any colored truck! Unfortunately, i hit a deer a couple of weeks ago and they ended up replacing the grille due to one tab on the back of the grille being broken. I took a picture of the broken tab, i looked for any other damage and couldn't find any. Neither the repair shop or I saw anything wrong with the grille until they tore it apart and saw the broken tab. It should be 100% functional still. I found a minor paint chip that looks like it occurred during removal. I think a good waxing will make it look pretty much perfect. This is a rare grill as i do not believe they made cobalt blue metallic ones from the factory, so the only way to get it is have it custom painted like i did. Also, the paint matches the truck flawlessly. I am asking $425 obo. I live in Michigan so local pickup would be best, but i will consider shipping as well. Thanks for looking!

For sale is a bluetooth VCIM that I removed from my 08 Sierra. It was taken out since I am trading my truck in on a newer vehicle soon and bluetooth was not a stock option, so I removed this one and replaced it with the original. This VCIM is originally from a 2010 Chevy Traverse but worked perfectly in my truck. This is an easy and cheap way to add bluetooth to your truck. This VCIM added bluetooth calling to my truck and also enabled me to use the Onstar app on my smartphone. So I was able to lock/unlock/start/ect, all from my phone (if you subscribe to Onstar). Onstar still saw my vehicle as a Traverse but that didn't seem to affect functions or the monthly report that they email you. With this installed on my truck (08 GMC Sierra 1500 w/steering wheel controls) It would display the phone number of the person you're calling in place of the odometer. It will also announce the name of the person calling you, if their name and number is saved into the VCIM. I was also able to answer/hang up/call somebody all hands free and from the buttons on my steering wheel. I am not sure if this will work on your vehicle but it worked perfectly on mine, so I would assume, but don't guarantee, that it will work on similar trucks. With this installed, I also had the two green lights on my mirror, not one red like some people have had issues with. VCIM Model # is 20829984 I am asking $225 / OBO + actual shipping for the VCIM and included bluetooth antenna. Feel free to ask any questions and i'll try to answer them as best as I can.
