I just ordered a set of wheel to wheel N-Fab assist steps, in textured black. When they come in I'll post some pics of them installed in case anyone was thinking of getting these. Got them from a company called www.autocustoms.com for $399.25 delivered.

I too have that rythmic vibration, but I think thats because its spinning at such a low RPM as the truck is being pushed along. I would describe it as more of an audible not physical vibration. If I put mine in M5 it seems to go away. I can live with that, just turn up the radio lol! It reminds me of riding on an airplane once it reaches altitude and they throttle it back...you just have a constant rythmic drone if that makes sense... My issue before was that I couldn't put my head on my headrest without my eyes bouncing around...

My 2014 All Terrain Crew Cab. Has 3" lift and leveling kit. Bushwacker Deep pocket flares and 285/55/20 on stock rims.

Silver Spaceship you continue to describe the same problem I'm experiencing. Thank you for going through the expensive and time consuming process of buying new tires only to be back at square one. My steering wheel vibrates to the point where my hand goes numb after 20 minutes. Its not the tires. I had them rebalanced and if it was the problem rebalancing would have at least slightly changed the speed or type of vibration. I continue to experience the same vibration at the exact same highway speeds 50-60. Where's GM in all of this? The dealers are GM's representatives and should be doing everything possible to resolve this problem and ensure customer satisfaction. I'll have to drive 35-40 miles one way to find another dealer to help me with this problem, with no guarantee they'll fix the problem. I didn't spend $33,000 to go out and buy another set of tires. GM should be working with the customer and dealership to diagnose and fix the problem. Dealership here has 50+ new Silverados on their lot. I will not go quietly.

Well disregard the previous post - as is the radar detector will not work in the daytime lol! It only works when the nighttime ambient light is triggered. Back to the drawing board. I removed the old setup and this time removed the entire overhead console - not just the panel. There are two T10 screws to remove: Then there are two friction fit tabs up front that just pull straight down. There is a main wiring harness to the overhead console on the left side that you can disconnect. Testing all the wiring shows that the black wire is a good ground, and the leftmost purple wire with white stripe is a good 12v positve that directly is triggered by the ignition. Engine on, power on; engine off, power off. Just an extra step but now all seems to work properly. I think the purple wire with white stripe is the power lead to the passenger airbag light on the overhead console.
