  4. Not to discount anything that TJay74 is saying but If I were you and already had the part I'd give it shot. What's the worst that could happen? The dealer sends you home and says it won't work and you can tell TJay74 he was right. At least at that point the proof is in the pudding and your not just taking someone's word for it. Best case senario it works and myself and everyone else out there that wants to do this will know what needs to be done to make it happen. Good luck Matthew!!!

  5. I'm started to question this whole "Road Force" thing. Not the concept, as I completely understand it. But, it seems that it doesn't matter what brand or model of tire, they are continuely changing. One minute a tire is 13#, then all of a sudden it's 33#. If that s truly happening, what's the point of RF balancing in the first place. If the tires are not repeatable, and for whatever reason they are changing their Road Force Variation that much, then the entire notion becomes pointless, and the only solution is a vehicle that isn't so sensitive to RFV. Something just doesn't add up here.

  7. You all are missing the fact that this has already been tested, several 2014 already went down the very road you all are asking about in this thread. That is how they found out from GM that if it was not optioned from the factory then it wont work, shortly after that GM made the harness available for people to run the aftermarket brake controllers.

  8. The endless line of Glock people who won't give credit to anything else, it just drove me away. Their leader was my brother. Because he knows everyting.... yup. I've changed my mind since owning one. Great gun. It'll fire everything I put through it. I'm impressed. Just wist i had trijicon sights

  9. Alright guys, play nice. I got an email the other day and a call from GM today. The new radio module is headed to my dealership and should be there today or tomorrow morning. Now the only bad thing is I am out of town until after the new year so I wont be around to have the new module installed or to test it out so that I can let GM know if it is working or not. Even if I could get in tomorrow it wont give me enough time to check the new programming and validate if the multi-pathing issue has been resolved or not. GM knows at this point from me that this needs to be the correct and proper fix. I now have 2 years of my time invested in it and while I can appreciate that there may be some hurdles to jump thru since they are at the mercy of the supplier I really think they (GM) should have lit a fire under the suppliers butt to get this fixed long ago. I advised the GM executive board today that if the fix does not work that GM can have my truck back via buyback and I will order a 2016 truck and then they will have their very own test truck here in Oklahoma to continue to use at their mercy. This wouldn't be so bad if the manufactures didn't wrap everything into one item, now you can even swap the radio out to fix the issue via aftermarket. The truck has been awesome other than this nagging issue which is even more sad in my eyes.

  11. I'm in the same boat. I think the gm twins are the best looking trucks out there but I would love to test drive a tundra. My only concern with the Tundra is that they are due for a model update and I would hate to buy one only to have it look outdated in a couple of years. But I guess that's what happened with GM when they decided to facelift the 2016s and make my 2 yr old truck look outdated haha

  18. I hadn't thought about it, but would have gone with a manual if it had been available. I am in the 2015 Corvette Z51 minority that went with the 7M and love it. Driving around town I just use 1-4, but the upper gears are great on the highway to get 29mpg.

  19. I haven't tried it myself, I didn't want to be the guinea pig. But from what I've researched the truck won't recognize it because the BCM isn't programmed to recognize it. It isn't plug and play. However I still want to hear from you if it works.
