  1. I have a few spots like that on my 2013 Suburban, guess I'll have to show this to the dealer at some point. I also have a wheel starting to have small pitting as well. Just turned 11K.
  2. If you get a BlackBear tune with the AutoCal you can go back to stock at any point. Your ECM and TCM tune along with your stock tune are stored on the AutoCal.
  3. IMO, neither....Go with BlackBear Performance! Let Justin turn your truck into a BEAST!
  4. Ryan, no floor drain?
  5. I thought that too about the cleaning solution not getting to the oil rings. Seems like they would fill the block up with a cleaner to get to the oil rings instead of on top of the pistons.

Nice photo. Looks like the Lab did a good days work.
  7. Yep that seems to be standard issue for wives My wife's is SUPERCHARGED
  8. It really depends on how I drive I guess, The DIC before the tune was like IIRC read on avg 17 ish and now maybe 15 ish or so maybe higher. It can really do good on highway driving with the tune and AFM off, probably like 18's.
  9. New lifters, pistons, rings and all things associated with those jobs will be covered for the full PT warranty, at least that's the way I understand it (I had all those done). Also the way I understand it (correct me if I'm wrong) is if you have PT work done at 99,999 miles, those parts are warrantied for another 12K. I dont think they will replace the engine unless the block is somehow damaged. My MPG's did not change from pre-work to after work, as a matter of fact they are really good with the BBP tune I have and the AFM off.
  10. Ryan, I have that same Purdue window decal on my OUTLOOK and a similar one on the GMC
  11. Drove to the Post Office with the exhaust I've been trying to sell so I could send it off to its new owner....bittersweet I guess.
  12. Speech language pathology.
  13. Daughter #1 is at Purdue. My truck handles the trip well.
  14. Went for a drive past the AM General plant, got board so just did some road time, no Humvee's in sight Installed the EZ Down also.
  15. Picked her up this afternoon, new water pump looks good. The tech checked out the emission stuff and said everything is working as it should, no issues so it must be the quality as gas around here. Couldn't wait to get it home and put the tune back in. Stock= boooooooooo, lol
  16. Hillbilly, did you get to see any of the job or get to see the pistons?
  17. Dropped the truck off at the dealer to get the new water pump installed, 2nd one in a year. Also asked them to check out the emissions stuff, maybe see why my exhaust smells like ammonia so bad. Runs great, no CEL or anything just stinky exhaust.
  18. My rebuilt alternator went out so I had to install the one I had on this forum for sale, so its NFS now. Also my water pump that was put on last year started squealing today, it's going in on Wed for a new pump.
  19. Here's what's been pooping in my backyard. I put him in the back of the truck and hauled him off to some woods on our property.
  20. They charged me 80 bucks for plugs. Said mine were in good shape and GM wouldn't pay for them. Can't figure out how the rings were stuck from carbon but the plugs were fine. did you get it back in piece?, how's she run?
  21. Is it the alternator that makes it so expensive?
  22. Drove my truck to go vote!
  23. Get a tuner and turn off the AFM on the 09' for sure. Probably too late on the 07'. Maybe Talk to hillbilly4u and get advice on what route he took, assuming your out of powertrain warranty.
