  1. +1. There is a thread on here some where about it. Dealer can either replace the gasket or seal it. Found it http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/158522-water-leak-in-the-roof/
  2. Just follow Moto's instructions. It works like a charm.
  3. GTPprix (Chris) is who does BCM programming. Another thought is some guys who have the Bull Bars drilled holes and mounted the sensors on the bar.
  4. Installed the Pop N Lock power tailgate lock. Should have been a factory option. It is really nice.
  5. Pop N Lock customer service sent me the new short harness and all is working great now...round 2 - COMPLETE WIN Thanks to Moto's instructions and all the rest of you guys who posted pics of the wires!
  6. Sure. I didn't get very far though. I'll let you know when I get it finished. Kinda disappointed that the darned wire cam out of the connector!?!
  7. Well, I am jealous of you guys that got 'er done in under an hour... Tried to install today and failed...round 1 - failed install. Got the tailgate stuff done and started to run the long wiring harness to the front of the truck. As I connected the short and long harnesses together, one of the wires came out of the connector on the short harness. Spent time trying to get the pin out of the connector to fix it and gave up. Placed a call to Pop N Lock, we agreed quickly not to try any more to fix it and now a new short harness is on the way. Good customer service. Stay tuned for round 2...
  8. Hope you got this resolved. This is why I went with the Plug n Play version so that they would not have to go into the doors and my total install was 2 hours!
  9. This is what I was trying to describe. I've also seen this type of seal or molding at Home Depot used for pickup truck topper seal.
  10. Actually, the Access TrailSeal Total Bed Seal kit is what I used. Here is the link:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B6IF6S/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Extang also has just the Tailgate Seal here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CN5QG8/ref=oh_details_o04_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The molding is like a topper gasket that you can get at home depot.
  11. My BakFlip VP kit came with a gasket type molding that was used to fill the cab end rail gap (difference between the rail caps on the side and no rail cap on the cab end). Along with the Access bed sealing kit moldings that help seal the tailgate, I have no leaks.
  12. Contact Joe Ledezma, (949) 221-4181 or [email protected] . Joe helped me find the installer I used and he was very responsive to questions.
  13. Well, I had the first failure with my AMP PowerSteps...rear LED died. The good news is they have great customer support. Used my volt meter to determine it wasn't a connection problem. Contacted Joe at AMP and he sent a replacement LED kit right out. Took me longer to get my tools out than to replace the LED. All is working great again.
  14. Yes, if you unplug it, the steps are disabled. Yes, that is where it gets the open door signal from. And, yes, there is a cable (Pass Thru Harness) that can be ordered to essentially extend the odb2 port so that you don't lose the ability to use it for other purposes (as well as dealer purposes) without unplugging the steps.
  15. Haha. You might say that. I've had a few more too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. FYI, it is the same part number for double cab. They just trim the step to fit the shorter length.
  18. Got mine at Henna Chevrolet on I35. But they won't fix the lights any more. They got the bulletin just as they finished mine and politely told me that my timing was good because they were not allowed to do it any more.
  19. Updated pic ... All cleaned up with AMP PowerSteps (OEM Assist Steps gone!)
  20. Yes, I do believe it!There is a bulletin out to dealers telling them not to replace the radio and HVAC control modules for knob illumination. GM says that on the early build Silverados they are operating as designed and there was a running change later where they were illuminated. Despite the various pictures and sales literature that shows them illuminated, this is GMs position. Mine were fixed as customervsatisfaction as well, but the dealer had ti fight for me (mine were fixed just before the memo came out). This issue did not affect the Sierra. Glad you are one of the lucky ones whose dealer took care of it.
  21. Good for you...I love the AMPs (and the wife is real happy...if the wife is happy, everyone is happy!) BY THE WAY, I have my OEM Running Boards for Double Cab (part number 22805440) on the For Sale section. Question: does anyone know if the OEM 6" Chrome Oval Running Boards from a 2010 Silverado Crew Cab would fit on a 2014 Sierra or Silverado Crew Cab? I also have a set from a 2010 Crew Cab for sale and I've been asked if they would fit a 2014. I don't know the part number so it is hard to figure out.
  22. RDS is set to " on" in my radio, but it only shoes the song info on HD stations...from the Infotainment Manual...see last line... HD Radio Technology HD Radio Technology is a free service with features such as static-free sound, more programming choices on local FM HD2, HD3, and higher, and on-screen information such as artist and song title.
  23. Had mine installed today. I asked them about your issue and he said the troubleshooting steps are what they would do. The steps should fall down nicely without the motors on them as well. No binding. Here's mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Now open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
