  1. Wow, I really don't remember. I took the tube with me to Home Depot to figure it out.
  2. Here's a picture of the drain tube exit in between the bed and cab. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yes, I do have metal tie downs in the lower part of each corner of the bed. Remember, we also have 9 optional tie down points in the upper part of the box where you can attach removable tie downs. These are normally covered with plastic inserts. When using the Bedrug, you cut a slot through the material where you have these lower and upper tie downs. For instance, in my upper tie downs points, I have 4 GM movable tie downs and two Bull Ring tie downs on the sides. In the front, I use the left and right top tie down points for my drains by drilling a hole in the plastic cover, and inserting a 90 degree elbow through it. I attach the supplied drain tube to the BakFlip rail corner, feed it behind the Bedrug to the elbow and then out between the cab and bed.
  4. Yes and yes, pretty much.

  6. Are you talking about the steps on the Ford Platinum trucks? Those are the Amp PowerSteps we are discussing.
  7. I would say these would be for lifted trucks. The standard PowerSteps are just the right height for stock ride height. My wife and mother are both "vertically challenged" and the regular PowerSteps are just right - my truck is stock ride height.
  8. Despit what you might read, I have a Bakflip VP installed with my Bedrug liner and it works fine with no leaks. The only special thing I would point out is there are two drain tubes (one in each front corner) that need to drain. I ended up running them behind the Bedrug to where two front tie down ports are. I drilled holes in the plastic insert of the ports and used two 90 degree elbows to run the drain tubes out between the bed and back of the cab. My front rail has no cap, so I used the supplied gasket and it fit great. Good luck.
  9. My 2014 LTZ also has the Z60 suspension. I agree it was stiff and seemed to bounce a lot before I put the Bilstein 5100s on. Now it is much more controlled and smooth without the harsh bouncing. My wife says she no longer feels like a bobble head.
  10. Used it today to haul 16 bags of stones to fix some drainage issues from our recent Texas storms...
  11. Looked at this a little closer today...station name and song titles on FM when RDS is turned on in Radio menu; XM and HD showed the info regardless of whether RDS is turned on or not. And yes, not all FM stations show the info even when RDS is on. This is on a 2014 Silverado Bose Radio.
  12. My Corsa cat back is the Sport sound model; all of the 2014 - 2015 Corsa cat back systems for Silverado / Sierra 1500 trucks are Sport. They do not offer a Touring sound for these years/models. Check out the catalog at Corsa.com. Yes, it is aggressive when accelerating, but when cruising, I can hardly hear it. Fit and finish is top quality and I couldn't believe how much lighter it is vs. the stock one.
  13. Yeah, 6+ inches of rain in 3 hours plus Tornados. Scary stuff. It's over for now and we are safe. Cheers.
  14. Hope you doing OK up in DFW...I had a break in the storms long enough to install my Corsa Exhaust...this flooding is real bad and some tornados around Austin too!
  15. Yeah, I know. I saw my son's 2010 Silvy with the Corsa yesterday and heard it again...and then I was looking at mine again while fixing one of the LEDs on my AMP PowerSteps...big muffler, flapper, resonator...and then AutoAnything kept sending me emails about sales! And then they price matched...and I'm using the Range AFM delete...and then I rode in wife's T/A with Corsa and that nice sound at 80 mph...too much pressure...haha (no more excuses...)Couldn't take it any more...?
  16. And that this discussion incorporates the issue of HD Radio dropping in and out dramatically which amplifies the 2014 issue. 2015/16 models do not have the FM HD issue, because they do not have HD. Perhaps 2015/16 radio reception issues needs to be a separate thread? Not trying to minimize the issue, but it is different (software, hardware and features) and solutions will most likely be different.
  17. Thanks Todd! We appreciate your efforts.
  18. Yes, I've had the the Bakflip VP on my truck for 19 months. It is much like the G2, except it does have the vinyl cover attached to the top. I park in the garage as well...it has not cracked or faded, but I do keep it clean and conditioned with 303 Protectorant to keep it soft and plyable. The only issue I had was it was a little stiff in the winter when I folded if, but so was my Bakflip F1 on my older truck. Here is mine...
  19. I was told by Bilstein that it won't hurt either way, but they are designed to be boots down. It may affect ride quality a little. If you want to change them, it is an easy job (did my install by myself in my garage).
  20. We talked about the clear on the front too...its legal now in Texas. But we are going from two stickers to one (registration & inspection to just registration) this year. I may go back and have the front done afterward.
  21. Interesting, huh...the rear is only dye from the factory, so I'm told, with little to no UV protection. This clear film filters out the harmful UV and keeps the heat out. I didn't want it any darker in the back, so there it is. It really makes a difference! If you look at this sample board, the clear is above the 30 sample.
  22. Washed "Ruby" too and took pics of the tint job done on Friday. Solar Gard Ultra Performance 30 front / clear in rear. Much cooler inside now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yep, that's what I was told by Bilstein and Allshocks.com (where I bought mine from)...
