  1. There is a fix to the seat movement with the latest PI.
  2. Purchased a 2001 Tahoe LT yesterday for 8300. Has 112k on the odo and looks completely mint inside. Needs to have the center console latch fixed, and windshield replaced. Drives smooth, ordered a leveling kit on ebay and going to tint the front windows. That's about the extent of the mods, oh and do the inside amp bypass mod. Radio sounds like crap.
  3. There was an old bulletin to only replace the white clips. The new bulletin actually attaches a clamp on the white clips that you can see by looking under the seat. Same issue affects all 2014/15 silverado/sierra.
  4. Jeremy, clamp the valve open on your exhaust and go for a drive and see if the squeak is gone.
  5. On this same topic, is it possible to make all or at least more of the usb/cig lighters always on?
  6. i really want to see a custom tune MPG vs stock MPG.
  7. they are posted on this forum. theres a new seat bulletin that puts clamps on the white clips now. its on sandyblogs also.
  8. make sure you check afterwards for the dark grey bar that now locks onto the white clips. mine has it, and didnt before.
  9. still working for me. had it fixed 2 weeks ago.
  10. they said they fixed it but yes it was an attempt. the newest seat bulletin actually puts black clamps on the white clips to prevent them from sliding, somewhat like the hose clamp fix. i'd rather get my hose clamps back and have a GM approved fix so I will update this thread in 30 days.
  11. I'm taking mine in tomorrow. They have a new bulletin posted previously that fixes this issue so I'll let everyone know. This will be the 3rd dealer fix.
  12. Wow now you're just grasping because you realized I never said what you're trying to pretend I said. You have to try this hard to make your argument seem valid?
  13. octane doesnt affect your mpg, the computer mapping/timing will and thats where people see the difference.
  14. No where in this thread did I reply to a post and said do not use Auto 4WD for snow or ice. I replied to the OP and the post on page 1 that said they had audible noise while in Auto. If you drive in Auto 4WD often or for long periods on pavement you WILL wear out your front transfer case. The funny thing is you even quoted me saying driving in Auto 24/7 is bad, and then you replied 200 miles. I never said 200 miles would break it. I said all the time.
  15. Here we go again Jon. i've replaced 3 transfer cases due to vehicles being driven in Auto. I can prove that driving these things in Auto 24/7 is bad for them.
