  1. Optima was bad for a minute when it was bought out and they switched to Mexico and quality was bad. But they are great again. I have had dozens in cars, boats,ATV, and trailers. Also a lot of the optima is bad was the issue johnson controls being anti american and moving to Mexico that alone started rumors. But odyssey is good. Best for off self normal batteries I would look at XS power. Then there are the big boy batteries the racers run but the cost is insane. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  2. There is always a spot. Add a isolator and buy a frame mount and then get a sealed battery. Wire it all and never even know you have it till you need it. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. my 2016 denali has it.
  4. Never a mouse. But I have had frogs. Best way to get rid of them is to add a snake. For snake issues add mongoose. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. Sounds like I will opt for the check and the free part and don't myself. Winning Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Best product is the smoked tint. It is of the wrap style material. I also have had paint shops wet sand and Night shade style paint them. As far as what lasts and looks best, professional tint. And it will come off but not as easy as the film. Both these options allow most all the light through. That said if you have a incandescent style build still swap out to a bright good brand led. The Samsung LEDs are built proof I have them everywhere. Even on my deck on the lake in the winter exposed and on every night...zero issues. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah and friends that work higher up in company say there are a few more issues that haven't seen the light just yet. However like most things once the new wears off it will get better. Maybe better to lease this new a vehicle. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. I can't speak to all. but this will give you a quick over overview. also rust issues. Are any brand perfect no. Does it upset most people to have to fix a new vehicle yes. But it is all about that you are willing to deal with, your ability and the end product. I get a discount that no one can beat but I was looking at a Ram for employee work truck( because they are dirt cheap) but was told to stay away. That said I wish you the best. https://www.carcomplaints.com/Ram/1500/2019/
  9. Not a safety issue when done right. Reflect and lights still same. Also on our led the output brightness is much better and we have 3 sets of lights Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. Ugh..... I know something you don't know about your ram. But I hate yo spoil the suprise. Also it would seem you are happy and that is all that matters. Enjoy. [emoji870] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. I do not know the number but it starts with how much you lower it. Then that determines the air bag kit that works. My kit is mounted to top of leaf and is a thinner bag, it is said for a 6" or more drop. So I have the 1" matching spacer under it. Now it thinks it is a 6" and allows the bag in spec allowing more travel and option to run on lowest air. I also pull a dual axle trailer with a 3200lb car in it. If I remember right the kit is mcgaughy kit. You will have no issues at all with what you have. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. Firestone over leaf with the billet 1" bag spacer. In the pic the bag has the very lowest amount of air in it like 8lb but I can go to 30lb if needed and that lifts the rear little more then 3". Sonit can handle more but I would just hook up the trailer at that and have zero worries. If it was stock height, lifted or towed more I would go with the 2500 or larger over axle bags. Oh I also have NO overload leaf spring just 2 leafs. So with that in as most have I bet it would be even better. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  13. Yes they are replica wheels. Look stores can get them and they are not expensive at all. Think like under $1000 for a set. I look the look of them and most people do not know they are not factory. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  14. Who said lowered trucks on 24" can't do work 12 bags 16 blocks and still no rub and that is on lowest air bag pressure. Full air lifted it 2" more. Air bags on all my trucks from now on. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  15. At my dealer many like that come in. Supercharged lifted trucks. But there are better options. Like own tune device or there is a gm software device that you can by on amazon and then download the gm file. Upload it yourself in the garage. I take my device and laptop with me but my dealer knows well what I have and ask what I want then I still get service and warranty. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  16. Yes as I said but if you are say supercharged, turbo, head or cams, bigger fuel, tran ior stall. Then how do you drive out of a dealership that just wiped out the tune that makes the truck run? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  17. No sorry about confusing message. What you say is right. Go to stock tune and when you leave switch back. No issues if and only if the flash wasn't pcm or tcm based. Then it is different then the settings the custom tune file had in it. For people with custom shop tunes where say a efi live or HPT is used they do not own a personal device to switch back and forth so if it is changed truck may not run. And it would need to be towed to the performance shop to reload the tune. This is why I say buy the device it is the KEYS to the trucks computer now or at least save your files stock and performance to a thumb drive so you have options. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  18. Correct and for the custom tuners just save that file as stock file so you still have options to compare to custom file or go back to stock with that file. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. I have check and asked and sent email. It will Not effect your tune. However if dealer flashes any of the pcm or tcm you will need to reinstall you tune. Some people do not own a device to do that so that was the concern. There is a $120 device anyone can buy and $40 2 year access to gm flashes and updates and you can do as you please. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  20. Yes but hard to say it dealer or service mechanic doesn't flash the pcm, tcm, bcm. For most this isn't a issue. However us tuned vehicles it clears out the tune. Without the device and laptop we can't write the tune to vechile and drive home. I posted on HPT forums but there is no way around this other then demanding they only flash that module. Or you just download the update and flash it yourself. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  21. You could have a air pocket. But also I would swap out the thermostat anyways. And you say the fans work but they are a speed regulated system so without a scanner it is impossible to know at what % they run at. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. I know all that however that is in the service bulletin. And a reason to cheack and replace booster. And why there was lawsuit filed on this. The claim was oil from a failed pump destroyed the booster and it was a safety concern. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. My understanding is the issue is oil gets past the pump.and into the booster. Not metal shavings. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  24. Ok sounds like I need the gm "update" soni can we what it is and add it to my file tunes. Send a email in the morning. Thanks Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  25. Sorry have to ask. Did you set up and use a trailer brake? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
