  1. I am amazed at the low inventory of Silverado 2500’s, especially the LTZ and High Country. Im in the Northeast and there is just no trucks within hundreds of miles. Anyone know when the ‘21’s will hit the lots? Did Covid really hit manufacturing that hard? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Truck looks awesome by the way! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thank you that sounds like just what I’m looking for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Guys, Without doing a lot of searching from my phone I was hoping someone could readily help me with a couple questions. I’m planning to install a set of 5100’s on the front of my ‘16 crew Silverado 1500 (Auto Anything has them on sale) similar to what I did to my ‘14 GMC 1500 Crew. Problem was at the max height setting the rear then became a bit to low when I was done. What size blocks do I need to maintain a slight rake and do I need new u bolts? Any specific manuf. of these blocks you would recommend that may also come with the u bolts if necessary? Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I had same issue this week. '16 5.3 8 speed, 22,550 miles. Started the dreaded shudder about 2 weeks ago and got worse, dropped it off Monday. Gave me a loaner (needed fluid) truck done Wednesday. They flushed and drained tranny 3x and filled with new fluid. Said they can only replace TQ if metal particles found.....none found "they said". GM requires customer drive 200 miles before they do anything further, if shudder still present. I have 100 on it by this afternoon and so far no shudder. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Dropped my '16 Silverado off at dealer last night for the 8 speed shudder. Advisor called said they couldn't finish truck today so stop and get a loaner. I asked what the diagnosis was and was told they think they need to flush and change the fluid and maybe something with a valve. Tech was gone for the day. Didn't mention replacing the TC. If they only change the fluid have you guys had similar repair and has it been successful? Do they reset the warranty at this point, I have 22k on truck? And is this covered under 60k warranty or 36k under standard warranty? Thanks for your help.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. You’re right about the charging pad on the truck. You have to move my wife’s Samsung around a bit for it to begin charging too. On another note the Apple Car Play works great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Appreciate the recommendations to Samsung but no thanks hers is 15 months old and the battery is swelling, causing the screen to lift off the base. Common we're told.........The Samsung Note I believe catches fire! So, as you saw in my post, I've had an iPhone for 10 years and only upgraded because it is slow and I am very tough on a phone. 9. I upgraded from iPhone 4s to the iPhone 8 yesterday and it doesn't charge wirelessly in my 2016 Silverado. My wife's Samsung 7 has charged wirelessly in the truck since I got it about a year ago so not sure what's up. Has anyone else got the iPhone 8 yet and have success with the wireless charging in your truck? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I've got the OPT7 Triple. Very bright reverse lights and the gradual center to end, left or right turn signals. Many positive comments. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Regarding the fogs on with the High beams, has anyone done this on the auto dimming headlights? Any reason this mod wouldn't work on those? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I don't specially recall, it's the hard gloss surface and think it was the F1. As I recall it was rated to support the upper weight limit at the time, not quite 4 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. These exact issues have happened to my Bakflip as well and it's just coming up on 4 years old. I would not buy another Bakflip either. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Quick update: Dealer had new set in stock, did the right thing and replaced them this morning. I didn't think to ask if they will also be covered for at least another 12 months, but they will probably corrode and peel again at which point I will look at another option, either the line-x or something not chrome plated. Thanks for the tips. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. thanks, wii look into that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
