  1. A friend has a 2015 Silverado LT2. Absolutely zero issues in 60k miles. Even all original brakes. I have 6k on my '17. Zero issues thus ar. My 2013 had 30k when I traded it. Again, zero trips back to the dealer.
  2. Yes. Works as advertised.
  3. My post- post 2 of this thread, provided ALL of the part numbers for the emblems and every single part needed to do this conversion......
  4. No. GM's parts system lists the "big chin" mat for 2018. Obviously, this is not correct! I said screw it, and made my own from two big chin mats. Looks OEM.
  5. As I said in my first post, the GM part number is 11611691.
  6. My '17 never had the 2 studs. They are the only ones required to add the cover.
  7. Please re-read my first post in this topic. The first pic clearly shows the studs circled in red. They are screwed into the intake...
  8. The existing cover stays. The Escalade cover fits right on.
  9. Mine, as with my former 2013 have been problem free...dare I say perfect!
  10. A good argument to support this action are the prices of the modules: 2016-2017 module 23248791 List $252.78 Wholesale $161.38 2018 module 13521066 List $152.96 Wholesale $97.65 So... it is significantly cheaper for a much better operating part. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnn.
  11. I was able to complete the installation of the Cadillac Escalade engine cover back in October. I refinished it in black metallic. The GMC emblem is for a Terrain 12620296. My '17 did not have the mounting studs. They were 11611691. The Escalade engine cover is GM 12643295. The Chevrolet emblem is 92068693. .
  12. For those who are having a hard time locating a 2018 charging module: https://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-WIRELESS-MODULE-13521066/253405415313?hash=item3b0023c791:g:zFYAAOSwlzRadMrn&vxp=mtr
  13. Good luck. They are practically worthless. As another member has done, it is best used as a ugly paper weight.
  14. Local GM dealer, or one of the several online GM parts houses.
  15. I'm hoping they send an update so my XM has album art like the Pandora app has!
  16. I sold mine on here pretty much for the cost of shipping ($30).
  17. Not in my case. I had a VIN handy if I needed it.
  18. My local selling dealer got mine in a week.
  19. My mat: My friend's mat in his 2018 Sierra SLT:
  20. I performed the 2018 charger swap today. I also took two charger pads to make an exact copy of the impossible to find 2018 10 rib charger rubber mat. My Moto Z charged 33% in one hour, and was not finicky as the 2017 charger was. The charger was $113.75 from my dealer.
  21. What a steaming load. You know what you are doing. Another reminder. Utilize the ignore feature.
  22. I address those current non-owners that only like to come back here to stir the pot. They know who they are. Stay in your RAM, Tundra, or F150 forums. Some people only like to complain. I am defending the truck as others like to $hit on them and say they are all crap because they had a bad one. I have had only good experiences, and for that, I am a clueless fanboy, according to those jerks. If you don't like my content, please utilize the ignore feature.
  23. No, Einstein.
