  1. Both of my trucks were made in Indiana. Seeing all of you whiners and trolls with all of your issues is also hilarous.
  2. You say I have blind brand loyality. Far from it. I work on trucks from all manufacturers. These are the best by far. So sad you bought a turd... No, not really. Have a nice life.
  3. You trolls need to find something else to occupy your time. Your opinions are not valued, or warranted. This is the second perfect GM truck I have owned. The first one was (GASP) a GMT900, which according to a lot of idiots was a terrible truck.
  4. Mine and others have had perfect GM trucks. Get rid of your GM truck if you dislike it so much, and go buy a POS Ford, RAM, Toyota, or other brand. Whatever makes you happy.......
  5. So you'd rather have a flexible frame, like the one under those UGLY POS Tundras, which is rigid as a wet noodle?
  6. I don't recall hearing that many GMT900's having a vibration issue, and the frames are EXTREMEMLY similar between the two generations. It comes down to defective axles, driveshafts, and torque converters.
  7. The one that came in was the same 9 rib part my truck already had.
  8. When I bought my '17, I specifically told the dealer that if I saw a dealer emblem on my truck when I came to pick it up, then they could keep the thing. Fortunately, they complied with my wishes.
  9. Your dealer can perform the work under Goodwill, which may cover part or all of the repair if they value you as a customer. This usually works if you bought the truck at that dealership. Be polite, but firm.
  10. It is important to flush out the frame with a garden hose at least once a year to prevent accumulation of dirt and debris that can lead to rot inside the frame.
  11. I went to that parts site, and that part number was not recognized. How did you order it?
  12. I will say there is one plus with U connect. When tuned into XM, the album art is a nice touch. GM should come out with a patch to add this feature.
  13. The charger in my 2017 charges my Moto Z phone 20% during a one hour period.
  14. The 2017 and 2018 have active grille shutters, which might explain why temps rise more than earlier models.
  15. From my experiences, new FOB batteries fix 90% of the range complaints. The batteries don't last long, especially if you carry the FOB in your pocket, and the buttons are pressed for any length of time.
  16. I will perform a one hour charge test on my friend's 2018 and report back if there is any difference between his and my 2017 in terms of charging rate for my Moto Z.
  17. You're also assuming that both batteries are good. Try putting a new battery in a remote and see if the problem is gone.
  18. It's a 2018 SLT with the console, so it has the equipment that we are seeking.
  19. The VIN from my friends 2018 Sierra is 1GTV2NEC1JZ113775
  20. I just returned from my local dealer. The charging rubber mat is still listed as 23264395. I ordered one, and am hopeful that it is the latest design. It is listed '16-'18 The module is 13521066. This is not been issued a price from GM, and is not yet available for service. It is listed for '18 only. The module console harness is 23124536. It is $30 wholesale. It is listed for '18 only.
  21. That is not the correct part number. This is what I get when I search that number:
  22. 2017 mat: 2018 mat: The 2017 mat has 9 raised bars on the surface, while the 2018 mat has 10 raised bars. The bezel is the same between the years. I changed mine out with one for a Yukon Denali, so it is a brushed metal finish.
  23. What little surface rust was there, I sanded it down to bare, shiny steel, then sprayed the X121B on the bare steel.
