  1. Back on the subject at hand if you can make a good profit / have another vehicle to drive until the market stabilizes it may be a good move, completely dependent upon your own situation of course. I had paid cash so had title in hand and I have no plans or needs to buy anything else in the near future. I have a good 09 Tahoe beater ride that i drive to work which I really like so the deal fit my needs very well. Like a lot of other people on this forum I got a great deal on the 2019. I was never very pleased with it so this worked out very well for me. I might do a EV truck next time get like 0 to 60 in 3 seconds or something LOL YeeHaw they better have some stout cargo tiedowns points in the bed of these EV trucks...................
  2. I went ahead and sold mine yesterday it was a 2019 Denali it brought 61k, this is the truck that I paid 52k for in Dec 2019 (I never changed my pic on here) Was a 2019 white frost tricoat really nice truck, the KBB was showing 57840 Carmax was 59k. Interesting thing is carmax offer from Sept 2020 was 50k I took it to a couple of dealerships and the sales manager at a Ford Dealership was slobbering all over the hood since it had less than 5000 on te odometer LOL and wrote me a check for 61k. The GM dealerships were much lower one guy said well we sell these here so your not going to maximize a price here? I never really liked the 2019 and newer body style and I just was not fond of the truck from day 1. So for me it was a great deal to just sell it outright and move on with a 9k profit. My old beater Chevy Tahoe will hopefully hold up until the new trucks have a significant redesign and regain their buyer incentives. I can be very patient when needed LOL
  3. Trying to remember where I heard this GREAT phrase spoken at a recent political rally. Quote: "WE Choose Truth over Facts" I will have to google that I guess...... On a brighter note, Dodge has upped the competition on excess power and capabilities. Please be very careful with this info, if you expose a New Green Deal supporter, they may experience heart palpitations. Check it out https://www.ramtrucks.com/trx.html
  4. Was still good when I traded for my 2019 but the cover would not fit on the 19 since they changed the bed size from 18 to 19. I have not installed a bed cover on the 19 yet, it only has 1000 miles on it but i will be looking at a G4 for sure............
  5. I would probably give the glass a good cleaning before I complained to the dealer. Any build up on the window glass can cause it to bind up and shudder. My drivers side rear was doing that and I had to use a paste window glass cleaner and plenty of elbow grease to get mine clean, it had something sticky on it. I figured the dealership had a tag or sign or something stuck on it at some point in time.
  6. Mine rattles noticeably at low speeds on rough pavement. Going to check this out tomorrow I had hit all the parts back there with my hand and could not duplicate the rattle. Thought it was the headrest at the time. Dang GM 70k rattle TRAPS. Great QC GM Hahahaha
  7. I really appreciate everyone's input. I will probably end up just ordering a set of Michelin's and moving on. Right now I am dealing with Hail damage from a recent storm, adjuster was out today and estimated it at $2,500.00. Looking for the best PDR outfit in town right now...............sometimes it just feels like a new vehicle is more trouble than it is worth. Might be best to just "DRIVE A BEATER" Haha
  8. Guys this does not make any sense, how could the floor liner being on the gas pedal cause the engine to turn over but not start? I intentionally pulled the factory floor liner out and tossed it back in on top of the gas pedal and mine starts, there has to be more to this? Is it just a coincidence and people are being told that is what it is maybe? The scenario of the floor liner just does not make sense!
  9. Took the truck into the local Firestone tire shop they had a hard time getting the replacement tires and only came up with 2 replacement tires after two weeks. I was told that this Bridgestone Alenza 22" tire is a New design and hard to get? 1 out of 2 of the new ones was just a bad as the RR at 52 Road Force. They used the (1) "good" new one and got it and all others under 30 on the road force. It was an improvement but the truck still has a slight shake. I was told that this is the best it will ever be with these particular tires? I now will have to decide if I want to try a set of Michelins / put up with shaking and keep driving or sell the silly truck and just drive a 10 year old beater ride all the time........... First 55k takes it home! let me know who wants it......
  10. Maybe there was a forklift incident with some stored parts? The warehouse team probably scooped all the modules up and repackaged them before upper management found out about the minor incident.............................
  11. Tried different volume levels but the Audio just sounds like a lot of wind noise? On the 8 spd transmissions I had 3 in a row 16 / 17 and 18 with the 6.2 16 had a harsh downshift occasionally/ 17 was a bit worse/ 18 only did it rarely. This 19 with the 10spd seems to upshift/downshift very smoothly, it is the best of the 4 trucks so far.
  12. Sounds like the system may not be recognizing the remote when you enter the truck. Have you noticed a "remote not recognized message" on the DIC? I would probably go get the 2nd remote just to eliminate the 1st remote as the issue........
  13. I am wondering if the car wash theory is just strange coincidence? i suspect that something else is going on with this truck, most likely every starter that they pulled off had nothing at all wrong with it...............
  14. Jeez that is a sad story but I guess all dealership service teams have a bad day now and then.
  15. Good Grief now I have to make a trip outside to check mine. Only got 650 miles on it so not familiar with all the changes from the 18 yet. OK I am back and yes this 2019 July 2019 build date Denali Ultimate has the button. Joe do you know what your build date is on your truck? Just wondering if the real early models might still use the old style intellibeams like the 18 and back where you move the blinker stem back and forth to turn the IntelliBeam system off and on? I would probably have to elevate this to a GM rep as I would be a little upset if I were in Joe's shoes on this. Excerpt from owners manual: IntelliBeam System If equipped, this system turns the vehicle's high-beam headlamps on and off according to surrounding traffic conditions. The system turns the high-beam headlamps on when it is dark enough and there is no other traffic present. This light (headlight with A inside) comes on in the instrument cluster when the IntelliBeam system is enabled. Turning On and Enabling IntelliBeam To enable the IntelliBeam system, press the button on the end of the turn signal lever when the exterior lamp control is in the AUTO or 2 position. The blue high-beam on light appears on the instrument cluster when the high beams are on. Driving with IntelliBeam The system only activates the high beams when driving over 40 km/h (25 mph). There is a sensor near the top center of the windshield that automatically controls the system.
  16. From what I understand the starters on these are extra heavy duty because of the autostop feature. Good for like a million starts........ 4 super heavy duty starters going out in a short period of time sounds like pretty slim odds. Is the truck modified in anyway like a winch /offroad light bars/extra battery etc?
  17. should be able to save a copy of the image either to your desktop or document program and print out from there? I have been outside punching all the infotainment screen buttons for 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get the cool cameras to stay on at speeds above 10mph NO Luck it looks like GM (actually their lawyer team I am sure) in their ultimate wisdom have made that "not an option" Also would like to utilize the cameras as a dash cam don't see that option either. So much potential here but sooooooooooooooooo limited.
  18. Well after thinking about this could have been caused by the software update that they did at the dealership for he brake issue instead of the over the air update or maybe the dealership one actually made the over the air possible?. I don't know all I can say is the truck has had a couple of updates in the last week and the IPhone7 volume goes back up like it should when the bluetooth disconnects now and it was NOT doing it before. These trucks are so complicated that I am not sure if anybody actually knows what si going on with them, even the GM engineers that designed the silly things.
  19. I had read years ago that all this technology had been reverse engineered from alien spaceships that crashed at Area 51. Might be alien revenge......After looking a bit closer I think that I see ET is actually on your infotainment screen!!!! It's better to laugh than cry
  20. Was scrolling through the infotainment system and noticed this recall info in the MyGMC area. On the previous screen it had a date of Jan 30th 2020
  21. I am technology challenged so not sure where to find the info. I scrolled through the settings and only thing I could find was this screen. Does this look correct?
  22. Looks like the ABS assembly is under the brake fluid reservoir.
  23. Worked for me. Have you not seen the update notice pop up on your entertainment screen yet? Mine popped up right when I shut the truck off a couple of times in a row until I did the download. It had a note that you could not start / drive or open the door of the truck for the entire 13 minutes so I had to wait until it was not going to be used for a while.
