  1. Update: I have replaced the tie rods, CV Shafts, sway bar links, and the passenger side lower control arm. Whatever rattle was there previously when going over bumps is gone.
  2. I installed the Readylift 2 inch lift on the front in addition to the factory 2 inch lift. I've got about 85,000 miles now.
  3. I installed the Ready Lift SST leveling kit on my 2019 Custom Trailboss about 8 months ago and have recently noticed some rattling when going over bumps. After checking the torque on everything and finding that nothing was loose, I did find that there seemed to be some wear in the tie rods and lower ball joints. I decided to replace the sway bar links, tie rod ends, CV shafts, and lower ball joints. I ordered some lower ball joints which I believed would replace the old ones. However, once I removed the lower ball joint on the passenger side, I found that the one's I ordered were not the same and have now discovered that no one is making replacement lower ball joints for the 2019+ trucks, so it looks like I'm going to have to order a whole new lower control arm. I suppose it's easier to just change the lower control arm but replacing just the ball joints is about four times cheaper.
  4. Just got done installing the High Country Cluster and Leather Steering Wheel on my 2019 Trail Boss. I ran a wire from clockspring pin 10 to the HVAC control module pin 6 and unfortunately the heated steering wheel still doesn't work. I believe it may be a feature that has to be activated by the dealership. For those interested, the HVAC Control Module is located in the instrument panel straight up above the brake pedal and kind of a pain to get to.
  5. Was able to finally get it out by heating it up and using vice grips to turn it. Luckily my local Chevy dealership had one of the bolts in stock. Finished product is awesome
  6. I’ve run into the same problem. Any solutions? i used a T50 Torx on the impact it started to spin and come loose then it stopped and stripped the head.
  7. I haven't yet but it's annoying me more and more every day. I may get the body colored mirror caps and see if replacing them fixes the problem.
  8. I've been experiencing a wind noise when driving at highway speeds on both the driver and passenger side. I narrowed the problem down to the plastic caps on each mirror rattling due to the wind. I'm not sure how they got loose enough to rattle or whether there is a way to keep them from rattling. It may force me to replace the mirror caps with the body colored ones.
  9. Mine is the drivers side mirror. It’s apparently two separate plastic pieces and one is just loose enough to rattle in the wind
  10. You still got this for sale?
  11. I’m glad to see they are this dark of orange. In the store display they looks more light yellow.
  12. I get its not their vehicle, so they could probably care less, but have a little pride in your work!
  13. I'm usually not one to complain, but it's frustrating when the dealership can't even perform basic tasks correctly. I took my 2019 Trailboss into the dealership to have four recalls fixed. I work in one end of the state and live on the other end and was debating which dealership I trusted more with my vehicle. I took a gamble and took it to the dealership in the area I work. I first called and scheduled a time to have my recalls fixed. They told me to bring it in on Monday at 1 o'clock. I took it in on Monday and while my information was in the computer, they did not have it on the schedule. I was then told that I'd have to bring it back Wednesday. I brought it back and apparently some of the recalls involved pulling the plastic trim panel inside the rear doors and the plastic panel that runs up along the rear seat on each side. When I went back to pick up my vehicle, the recalls were all fixed but when I opened my rear driver's door, it was obvious they did not replace the panels correctly. I had to line up both the plastic panel and the plastic trim at the bottom and push it into place and make sure that the rubber trim overlapped correctly. I then checked the passenger side and they had left it the same way. It's obvious I made the wrong decision on which dealership to take it to but I'm not so sure that I would have fared better at the other one. I don't think its unreasonable to expect these dealerships to take care with your vehicle and put them back together properly when you spend the amount of money that these vehicles cost and your only there to have work done because GM messed up in the first place. I've been a longtime Chevrolet owner but the quality of these 2019 and newer trucks is really disappointing and subpar service at the dealership isn't helping. Anyone else experiencing similar issues or did I just happen to find a crappy dealership?
  14. I got these and installed them on my 19 Trail Boss. They look good and I love them. My only issue is that there is some flickering when they are on as DRL’s. There does not seem to be flickering at night when the headlights are on. My guess is they receive less power when on as DRL’s or something. Otherwise great replacement bulbs. The halogens were awful.
  15. Did the muffler and flapper delete on my 2019 TrailBoss Custom and it sounds perfect. A little growl when you start it up and then a fairly quiet idle but a nice rumble when you accelerate. Just what I was looking for!
