  1. I cant believe they have a chart for this, does this company know how long seven seconds is? I wonder what damage that will do in the long run.
  2. I've worked at Chrysler and wondered the same thing, why the Hemi which is an OHV as well doesn't have the problem. I dont remember anyone bringing it in for that issue, while at GM we had atleast one person per day bring it in.
  3. Its not that much more, I have seen dents fixed on them fast and at the same cost as steel.
  4. Whats wrong with the Aluminum body? thats one of the best things about it, GM will eventually go that way as well. And that truck does look good.
  5. Anyone drive the 16s and get the vibrations?
  6. Millions on the internet
  7. Very interesting suggestion on the RAM forum. Somebody needs to try traction bars.
  8. Just like most S/S dont vibrate.
  9. You guys need fender flares
  10. Has anyone tried these liners on the older 2008 trucks? I have done some measuring and they seem to be a direct fit. Anyone in Winnipeg willing to take one off for measuring purposes please PM me
  11. So Someone new buys a new S/S has the vibration, does a search which leads them right to here, registers and voices their concern and you think somehow they aren't telling the truth. I dont own a new s/s(and going on 200 posts), but I drive one at work that has the problem, should I not post here? Am I somehow wrong according to you? I guess post count is the determining factor.

    rough country

Everything looks great, except that rusted ugly frame on a brand new truck.
  13. Just FYI to all the people that are saying they are going to Ford, Ford is having the same issue with a vibration that is felt through the gas pedal. I spend alot of time on every truck forum, as well as working for the big 3. GM and Ford are not ready yet.
  14. Pic didn't show for me until it was open in Chrome. Could be more weight on that rim. Sure might have 3 oz which is excessive, I don't ever remember putting 3 oz on a wheel when I worked a t a dealership.
  15. How so? There is 5, 10, 30, 35 and 40oz weights, how do you come up with 2.25 oz?? He didnt specify what type he has on there. 3oz is excessive.
  16. Because it cost more. Both Ford and RAM paint their frames they give more of a shit.
  17. Whats that got to do with it? You got a problem with the frame and you can fix it. You want the easy way out then Oil it up or let GM patch it up for you.
  18. Do it the way I'm telling ya dude. Scrap the frame, sand, prime, paint and clearcoat. Its the way to go for a one time resolution that will last for years. Its hard work, I've done it, but worth it.
  19. Messy, expensive and wont last in our climate.
  20. Absolutely sand and paint. I've done many frames and I'm in the industry, I work at a place called Rondex here. Best way to go is to sand prime paint and clearcoat that is the best way to make it last. Everything else is a temporary fix, simply spraying this with Rust encapsulator wont last more then 2 years in the northern climate.
  21. F150just hitting the road. We have two years on the f150
  22. 2015 F150 going through the same problem http://www.f150forum.com/f118/vibration-through-gas-pedal-298606/
  23. Are you kidding me with this?? Never seen it this bad, seen bad as GM has the absolute worst frame rust out there. But, this is unacceptable.
