  1. Then learn how to phrase your sentence correctly. As I said, it can be persieved in the sense of the "general" after market. There is no such thing as "yes and no" answer. You were wrong when you said these shocks are "Crappy", they are not. READ what you just wrote here: "Yes there are people who have put 13's on 14's" enough said!!
  2. Buddy, before you try and be a smart ass educate yourself. This can be taken as in "general" after market "There are no after markets released yet". The Bilsteins on the new trucks are EXACTLY the same shocks as from the previous generation. I know as well as Silverado Hareek because we used them, read the reviews.
  3. The answer is yes, they do have aftermarket shocks http://www.gorancho.com/shock_lookup.php?cat=qll&shock_type=quickLIFT%E2%84%A2+Loaded&year=2014&make=Chevrolet&model=Silverado+1500&drive=4WD&x=35&y=7 Some of the best shocks available and the adjustability is the greatest thing since sliced bread Also, the Bilstiens are a good shocks.
  4. Finally pics of how these trucks are supposed to look like!
  5. ok ok you win too! haha
  6. Ding Ding, winner. Everyone else loses. Only one that looks like its supposed to.
  7. I guess I was supposed to read your mind and know you went to the Tundra forums. Nonetheless, this issue with the vibration must be fixed, I think its time more people start taking it to social media, youtube videos are a good start.
  8. Oh really? yes Really I have been on every single forum from every truck manufacturer and its got alot less problems then this 2014. Id consider the problems it does have minor to what most of the people are having with the 2014. Maybe you should read every thread in this section and I mean every single one then go to the Tundra forums and do the same, then come back and post your opinion.
  9. All my life I have driven a GM, I was going to move from my 2008 to a 2014, but no way in hell will I ever be buying a 14 or beyond as I have been in this industry long enough to know this ridiculous amount of problems on these trucks will never be fixed. I'm actually considering something I never would have and that's picking up a new Tundra, as it has almost zero problems that I can see.
  10. At least GM is using a quality product, I'm looking forward to you posting some actual pics of the job these guys did.
  11. What was the product they used in the TSB? can you find out? Really like to see the pics
  12. Wow, that is the worst rust on a 2014 I have seen to date. Unfortunately, all they will do is spray on 3m rubberized undercoating which will last a few months. This is what we did when I worked at a dealership back in the day.
  13. Please, stop spewing garbage. Gm and ford have teamed up on a 9-10 speed transmissions , this transmission will be first seen on the 2016 f150. There is no timeline when or what will be seen on the future sierra/Silverado in terms of transmissions. Gm and Ford have NOT merged like this person has stated on trucks.
  14. Its a nice colour when the sun hits it, me and my buddy picked that colour to paint his 1970 GMC Custom with a blown 454 in it, still building it.
  15. If you go with the Ford, make sure its the 5.0L its their best engine, avoid the Ecoboost. I have worked at Chrysler, Ford and GM delerships. The 5.0L is the best truck in terms of reliability.
  16. Get yourself a solid piece of rubber and epoxy glue, sand frame in that spot and glue it. That weather stripping will deteriorate.
