  1. Next mod should definitely be a good vacuum and a trash out.
  2. Yup, only suspension mods are the Bilstein 5100's. The wheels are 18x9 Method NV's with a +18 offset. Tires are 285/65r18 Ko2's. Zero rubbing and the setup works great for me since I drive a ton.
  3. I don't have the exact part number on me. But the ones I got are all keyed lug nuts.
  4. Life goals right there. Having 22" "winter" wheels.
  5. What grill is this? I don't remember seeing this grill before. And nice truck man!
  6. Yea man, got her all naked and stuff. But it's on Bilstein 5100's, fronts set to 1.8" lift. Not an even level but perfect for me since I wanted to keep a bit of rake. And I do need to get the fronts tinted, think that will wait till next spring though, I've already spent too much money on the truck this year. And Chuck is right, I bought his lightly used Corsa Sport. To me it sounds perfect but can understand how it might be too loud for some. Up to 75mph it's really quiet with no v4 drone. Once you get into the 80's it started to get louder. Thanks man!
  7. Thx man, lol you really dug deep for that post though. That's back from June 2014. This is what it currently looks like;
  8. Looks good man! I'm usually not a big fan of those big steel bumpers but I really dig that. I do think the fender flares are a little overkill since the wheels and tires seem to sit pretty well tucked in. I think it would look a little cleaner with them off or with spacers or wider tires.
  9. Got to haul our empty 16' utility trailer around to drop off some material at a job site. Every time someone says to use e85 when towing just show them this post. Hand calculated 11.07 mpg on e85. Towing an empty utility trailer for 264 miles, only actually towed any weight for less than four miles. With a loaded trailer I would be hard pressed to believe I would even touch double digits. While there was undoubtedly more power available the poor range just makes it impossible to continuously run e85. On 93/91 I would of gotten ~17.5mpg on the highway with an empty trailer easy.
  10. Glad I was finally able to find this thread. I think I'm gonna do this in a few weeks.
  11. That thing looks slow and I'm sure that supercharger sounds terrible.. You should really post up some burnout videos to prove me otherwise.
  12. This is why I decided to go with a custom tune vs just a tuner. I read the same issue Kerrslight is having a dozen times over on the engine tuning thread, enough to convince me the Diablo tuners are not as "plug and play" as they advertise. Hope Lew is able to clean up your tune and get you fixed up.
  13. Ok, I just saw your post on the other thread too. If I was in your shoes there would be two things I would do. 1) Try to have a meeting face to face with the Service Department Manager so he can explain why it took 8 days to let you know they would not be working on your truck. 2) Tell them to prove to you that it was tuned. If that doesn't work than there is; 3) Get in contact with local lawyer to help you out.
  14. Oh man, When I looked at the first picture I was like, dam, look at Rawyzf taking his truck off road and getting it dirty..... Then I scrolled down and saw you had just driven to an undeveloped part in your neighborhood.
  15. Looks good man, I like those wheels allot. Shoulda done the black lettering though.
  16. Oh! I thought you were wanting me to measure out front wheel to wheel and approximate front to rear load to calculate appropriate psi. I'll try and take some dimensions with pictures tomorrow. The Bfgoodrich site lists the 285/65r18 Ko2 as 32.5" tall, and 11" wide though, sounds about right, next to my dads 275/60r20 Ko2 they are particularly identical.
  17. Yea for sure. I saw the 285/65's on the show floor and they looked great. I also kept looking at the other trucks on the 285's and I loved the look, figured I couldn't go wrong with either tire. Glad I piked the 285's. Also, for the first part I'm gonna have to get back to you on that
  18. For guys running the 285/65r18's what psi are you running? I'm gonna run 45F 42R for the next few days, it came back from the dealer at 30 which I thought was too low. Edit: Forgot to add pictures
  19. lol, I was upset. But once I pulled over the guy pulled in behind me and looked at his mirror and said, "I'm ok if your ok with it!" I looked over to my fender and door and was like, "sorry man. I'm not ok with it. My fender and door are pretty dinged up" Dude could barely get out of his car, I felt bad and wasn't all that upset then. Shit happens, hopefully his insurance forks up and pays for it quickly. Just make sure and check out both 17" and 18" version of the NV's. The 17's have a more natural concave face where the spokes actually curve in. The 18"s are flat face and just have a lip around the wheel. They both look great, just depends on what look and tires you want to go with. Haha thx man. I'm glad my misfortunes could bring joy to someone else. I still need to fix my squeaky breaks, but after the last few days all I want to do is relax this weekend.
  20. Pumped some delicious e85
  21. This x1000 Not shitting you this was the problem. I got my truck back today and they rebalanced the tires and discovered they had not pulled these retainer clips off. I haven't had a chance to drive it on the highway just yet (more on that later) but it already feels 10x better. And more on my shit week. I was driving home, on the left lane, when this older guy decides that he wants to be in my lane too. Problem is, he never saw me.... AT LEAST MY NEW WHEELS LOOK GOOD!
  22. Yes, the truck has always had a slight vibration. Its on and off but slight. Two week ago I went in for a oil change and tire rotation and after that there was an increase in the cabin vibrations. At this point the Goodyears are 3/4's worn with 40k miles on them so I figure that its due to wear or whatnot and hope a new set will clear it up. New set comes in, go to dealer yesterday and drive with HEAVY vibrations on the way out. Now I'm here. :/
  23. Yea, the driveline on these trucks seems to be ubber-sensitive which I think derives from a rear end or driveshaft issue. I even went out of my way and paid way more than I should of to have the new set mounted and balanced at the dealer since I didn't want to have issues from "bad-balancing" I drove it quite a while yesterday but didn't get a chance to do a highway drive but the tech did tell me it drove great. So now I have to go back and have them re-check them and did ask them to specifically check the driveline. I just now they are going to come back at me with, "well the vibrations are really being caused at by those aftermarket HEAVY DUTY shocks you have on there" Right..... my old 2500 Ram with a 3" Carli kit on the same 5100's at least drove smooth down the highway. Anyways, there is already a 350+ page thread on that issue. Just wanted to give an update.
  24. http://www.bilsteinus.com/fileadmin/user_upload/user_upload_us/pdfs/Bil_LevShks_WebArticle.pdf The added stiffness from the highest settings comes from the increased pre-load on the front coils. A lower setting would, theoretically yield a softer ride.
