  1. I had my passenger side one replaced under warranty it had an intermittent internal short.
  2. I had the Passenger side light assembly changed under warranty due to internal shorts . Signal would fail. Halo would not flash or change when it was acting up. Been fine ever since... Very expensive part glad it was still under bumper to bumper.
  3. I just received the recall for the tailgate on my 2022 Silveroado 1500 RST.
  4. Well My 2014 and 2016 were US built extended cabs no real build issues. My 2018 Crew Cab was from Mexico. I had both the Tailgate pins fall out only finger tight. Then a screw in the overhead console fell out and started to bounce around. So when I just crawled around under it and in it tightened so may things I lost count. So not sure it must have been a Friday truck lol. But it ran real reliable.
  5. They only tried to protect the terminals from over heating. Fact is if enough moisture gets on the actual terminals there was still a potential for an over heat. It's water and electricity. I was never satisfied with the repair they did. It's interesting that my new 2022 has a completely different design now. I never had any issues with my 2018 But I did keep an eye on those windows contacts when cleaning the truck just to make sure they were always clean and dry.
  6. I've had them since 2019 and used them on two trucks now.
  7. Oh like these ones. Zero issues with mine.
  8. On my 2022 Refresh what you are calling a longer crank is my normal start every time on my truck. Crank Crank Crank start. Probably three full revolutions of the engine. I think the fix was to take more reading from the Crank Position sensor before starting. Originally it only took one reading and if it missed that the engine would not start.
  9. There's just days the heater is not happy. This occurs all the time to me 72 is fine most times then some days it's to cool then when I bump it to 73 the truck gets to warm. Other days it's fine. The light coming through the windows from the Sun and even the color of Paint you have seems to mess with it. Even pulling my shade back on the sunroof causes it. It's like the temp sensor in the cabin is easily fooled by outside factors.
  10. Well it 150,000 miles on the LM2 it's 200,000 miles on the LZ0 but get this it's the exact same part number for the belt for both. So read into that as to what you think but I can't see the same belt wearing out fast in one engine and not the other.
  11. The fronts are $2300 Canadian. $250 a deal compared to the fronts.
  12. I just wash them real good and shoot some silicone spray in between the leafs. Stays quiet for a long time. I've done this on the 2014. 2016, 2018 and now on the 2022.
  13. I had 22 on my 2016 GMC and hit something on the road and damaged two wheels and rims. Over $3K just to replace two. Only get 20's on my trucks since. Way more options even buying used OEM then finding 22's Just my 2 cents.
  14. Wash the springs and spray some silicone lube into them. See if they stop.
  15. My 2022 RST was supposed to come with them but they got deleted due to the parts shortages. So I ordered them from the dealer and installed them myself when they came in. They are very easy to install. $400 is a cash grab.
  16. Service the rear brakes. IE clean and lube just to make sure they are not sticking. Also clean the rear leafs and even spay some silicone spray in the groves. That's how I kept my 2014 from making noise from new. Also that year of truck had issues with the axle bolts not being torqued right on some trucks may want to check that to. Just my thoughts.
  17. Seat belts Recall date 2021-04-08 Recall no. 21V245000 General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2014-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2015-2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, and 2014-2015 GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles that may have received an incorrect replacement tensioner cable assembly as part of a previous recall remedy or a subsequent repair. The flexible steel cable connecting the driver's seat belt to the outboard side of the seat may be repeatedly bent over the seat side shield as the driver enters and exits the vehicle causing the cable to fatigue and separate.
  18. There was a recall for that exact issue. Did your truck have it done. I know when I took my took my 2016 in they cut the plastic opening there and made it larger.
  19. There were so may updates for that system. I had a 2014,2016 and 2018 and had updates done to all of them for various reasons. You may simply need to get it updated to the latest version to correct this issue. of course probably would have to pay for it now at the age of your truck. My 2022 with the new system has been updated three times to correct issues.
  20. I put my truck on the ramps. Then jack up the rear pumpkin and put the rear axles on jack stands and level the truck right out. Then just change the oil and filter and refill it.
  21. There's been supply chain issues all over. Yes others have had issues getting parts.
  22. Yes I just realized the Intellibeams are shutting off when the ignition goes off. SO not sure why they did this. Maybe so we use them less I guess because I forget to turn them on now.
  23. Yup at least they are not to hard to do your self. Broke one on my 2014 it was so crazy I'm not a small guy and not thin or weak. I opened the door that day and the thing pulled me right out of the truck and onto the ground. The only reason I didn't actually get hurt on that one was the seat belt was undone but still across my chest so I got hung up coming out and slowed down. But it snapped the door check lol.
  24. Had the same issue with my 2022 the dealer finally replaced the rear backup camera and so far it has not re-occured in over a 2 month.
  25. You either have a Vent problem or an issue with the EVAP system. Both can cause this. The vent system is easy to damage if one insist on constantly pumping every drop into tank every time they fill them. This is not just GM thing most modern vehicles can be damaged this way. The cap less fillers are bad for this as well.
