I have had my heated seat burn out on me twice now. The dealer doesn't understand why... but when it does work it doesn't seem to heat like my 08 Trailblazer did. The dealer has said that the seats in the new trucks have a lower temp setting. Really stupid. They don't even heat up enough to actually feel that there is heat. Very frustrating.

Fuel prices finally dropped here to 83.9/ L. Still crazy high but compared to some places in the states but its still a way better price then a couple years ago when I was paying 1.40/ L

Wow... $500 for the camino... thats crazy. Yea you are right there are lots of junk out there selling for at least 4x that amount and you would be getting less. And $200 for the Trans is awesome. He would have been an idiot to pass that up. I had a buddy who was rebuilding a 72 Chevelle when he passed away. The car was about 70% complete when he passed. In his will he had left the car to his daughter... she had no interest in the car so she ended up selling it for $1000.00 as it was including the rest of the parts that weren't installed yet. When I found out I just about had a heart attack. She said she wanted money for clothes so she thought it was a good deal for her. The guy that got it was probably laughing the whole time. I know my buddy had spent at 40k in it when he passed.

Lol. Too bad about the El Camino but who knows something may come around. My father in law is a huge fan of the Camino he has been looking for one for quite sometime but either people want more than what he can pay or it needs so much work he that he isnt interested. My buddy is always buying and flipping cars/ trucks and I wish I had the money to buy some off of him but i'm in the same boat... either funds aren't there or I have no space to keep them. Planning on buying an acreage in a few years so maybe then if the whole "five year plan works out then maybe can start on having my wishlist. lol

Decided to work on my old shasta airflyte trailer. Here are a before and after.

Don't remember where I saw it on this site but liked the idea of someone adding the lights in the rear bumper steps so I decided to do something similar. Also decided to add some interior colored floor lighting.

Cleaned the garage and shop and toys. then put on new mud flaps on the new truck.

Hey guys. Just wanted to throw in my two bits. I was having major vibration issues on my truck at certain speeds sometimes at 50km then 80 and 110km. I had discussed with the dealer about this and they had looked everything other on a couple occassions and told me nothing was wrong then finally one of the service techs had come out and asked me if I would be interested in trying out different rims/ tires on my truck (looked like he had a theory in mind) so i did. I originally had the 20's on the truck and we had swapped for the 18's instead. similar diameter only approx .37" difference. I drove the truck right away after the swap and no vibration. been driving it for the past two weeks this way and still have not come across any vibration. I had made the dealer buy my 20's back off of me and give me a credit to keep the 18's. The mech had said that he noticed a lot of the trucks that did complain about vibration had the 20's on them and he figures something is off. Either way I am just putting in my story of what happened. For others here on the site that have further vibrations issues I hope they get solved and if I here more then I will post it.
