    I bought that car in 1981 for 5500.00 had 21k on it ... Has 65k on it now but I pulled the stock 350 2 bolt at 50k and sold it for 1200.00. I built a 350 4 bolt with 400 heads, roller rockers, Edlebrock intake and a .480 lift cam. It has Hooker headers, Flowmasters, dual exhaust and 4.11 posi. The rest of the car is original. Has a real lopie idle and you can hear it coming. It's sitting in the garage for the winter.

    . I have the same issues ... When I punch it off the line I get a slight shudder in first gear. When I am doing like 60 mph and let off the gas I also get a slight shudder. It's not real bad but feels a lot worse when you pay 45k for a new vehicle and it does shit like this. I am gone to live with it for now cause I don't want my brand new truck ripped apart at the dealer looking for the issue. When I schedule my next oil change, I am going to ask them to rebalance the tires and go from there. Maybe I will get lucky.

    Take off feels a little smoother. MPGs maybe between .5 to 1 ... Under the hood looks much better than the stock unit. You can definitely hear it when you get on it. I am still running stock exhaust ... After market duals would sure help but not sure if I am ready for the v4 drone that comes with them. Not a bad upgrade for 2 bills.

    I just tinted the fronts out to match the back, add EGR in-channel visors and had 3M paint protect on the hood done.

    The Conti's were on the truck when I bought it last month ... truck only had 49 miles on it when I picked it up ... It came from another dealer in the area so they drove it over to where I purchased it. I have been reading tons of post on this site and never saw anyone with these tires on their truck. That's why I was asking if anyone had a problem with them being out of balance ... like I said, my Vibration is not real bad and very intermittent.

    I picked up a 2014 silverado custom sport last month. 5.3 L - 3.42 rear. It came with polished 20s and Continental Crossconnect eco plus tires. After about 500 miles I notice a vibe in the steering at around 75 mph. Not real bad but it's there. Also cruising around local I sometimes get a vibe in the steering but not always. Most of the time the truck feels smooth. I only have 1200 miles on the truck so I wanted to see if it get worse or better. Also, was wondering if any one else is running the Conti's and if your getting any vibration with them.

    I just popped a small nail as JeffF suggested and it works pretty well ( easy install and removal) ... I really was not having an issue but these exhaust systems are restricted enough as is. I believe motors should be able to breathe some. Took it for a spin and it does sound somewhat louder. As far as the drone in 4V it's not too bad ... Gone to cruise it for a week or so to see if I leave it open.
