FXR is a specific projector from 'The Retrofit Source' (link below) that alot of people are swapping out inplace of the OEM projector in conjuction with an HID system. Most using the Moimoto brand also found at TRS. Where did you order your LED's from?     I'm in the same boat as you. I have the iridium metallic and don't want black or chrome but something in the middle and it is really hard to see what is going to look just right. We need a good simulator with a large volume of wheels to choose from!
