  1. Only 40k, but this isn't covered under 100k. Had diesel diagnostic done today and its the onstar module that needs replacing and not covered under 100k power train warranty.
  2. I haven't noticed it leaking, but I'll sure start watching.
  3. I have a 2023 Silverado 1500 with the 3.0 Duramax. It's currently at 40k miles and has been flawless until 6 weeks ago. The check engine light came on. Later that evening, it went off and stayed off until 2 weeks ago...same thing, came on but later that evening went off. Fast forward to this morning, remote start wouldn't work, so got in the truck and started it and sure enough check engine light was on. Took it by dealership and they want to essentially explore... Well, I just ran a errand and it's off again. So, anyone experience anything like this? With it being out of warranty, I dont feel comfortable with them exploring the problem. They are telling me it's a chafed wire.?. Around the same time of first check engine light, my compass quit showing up in driver display. Also, my clock started reading 7 minutes slow and its on auto time. Any insight is appreciated. here is the pod sheet from the third time the cel came on then off.
  4. So, how many run a check valve on their catch can set up?
  5. I love it. I HATE rake. Glad to see someone take this approach, as most want that ant eater look. Well done! P.S. Just say NO to rake..
  6. Well said!
  7. Dude, its just not for you. Spend your money elsewhere on another mod. For the rest of us running catch cans,we'll remove them before going to dealership if there's any doubt on warranty.
  8. I've noticed bakflip has changed the part number for the MX4 from 48120 to 448120 on the shortbed crew. Anyone know if it's a updated version or what?
  9. Is the unit tested not available? I couldn't find it on the afe website for the 6.2 Does the 5.3 and 6.2 have the same afe part number?
  10. Any tutorial videos out there for these trucks on changing fluids? I wouldn't mind watching the process to familiarize myself better..
  11. I've never done the front/rear differential, transfer case, or transmission. Is it fairly easy process on these vehicles? I'd like to do my own, as the dealer pricing is a small fortune.
  12. How hard would it be to cut the muffler out and have a pice that clamps in instead of welded in? I wouldn't mind trying it, if it would clamp in.
  13. Sound good. Any performance difference?
  14. Sounds good. What is it?
  15. Is there a catback system that is the similar to borla touring without the 1k price tag? I was looking at the mbrp, but heard it's loud...also looking at the corsa db, but haven't heard any reviews and don't know much about it. I'm wanting something along the lines of borla/corsa touring catback, just hate the price.lol..
  16. I was wondering about this also. I've done 3 different 2016 with 2.5 and didn't take strut apart. Went on just like the 2014-15 models.
  17. Nut on bottom for the ones I've done.
  18. I'm undecided at this point. My local wal mart has Mobil 1 and platinum, but not the ultra. The ultra seems quite a bit higher from the places I looked, but will look again with your reference being close in price.
  19. Fixing to start doing my own since the 2 free have been used. I'm debating mobil 1 and pennzoil ultra platinum. Anyone believe the ultra platinum is better and worth the price difference?
  20. Looks very nice! How's the noise with those tires. I've had my eye on them, as they seem to be some of the lighter weight mud tires available.
  21. Anyone that's running a level on a 2wd crew cab, did it give designate lift height. I'm wondering if it have specified amount on a 2wd or it lifted more since 2wd is lighter? I had this happen on a tundra and trying to decided if I need 2 or 2.5 leveling for sierra.
  22. Sale still going? I looked at it and it was $1045
  23. If you have the stamped steel, as I do on my 2016 all terrain just order the kit for the aluminum arms. The bolts are longer and need to be used on the stamped. I ordered a MotoFab and the bolts were too short for mounting the understrut spacer. After talking with a couple shops, I ordered the wrong kit. The only difference is bolt length. The standard cast arms use shorter bolts than the aluminum or stamped.
  24. Methods look much better!
