  1. I tried a 1.5” spacer but it pushed the shock against the cv boot. So now I’m also debating on what to do if anything. The spacer was only $40. Eibach sells struts that re adjustable from 0-2.5”, and are $126 a piece. Ideally I’d like a 1.5” top mount spacer but can’t find one. That’s what I’m leaning toward. I’m not a big fan of the stock lowered front end, but these trucks aren’t as bad as the previous gen.
  2. It's been a month now and my truck has not been able to connect to the internet or access apps... Thinking this was just my truck, even though technical assistance said there were others. Well I just ran across a bulletin for this issue(s). Of course there is no fix yet, but engineers are working on a solution. #PIT5793: Unable to Access Apps and Remote Personalization Features in the Radio - (Nov 9, 2020) Subject: Unable to Access Apps and Remote Personalization Features in the Radio Brand: Model: Model Year: VIN: Engine: Transmission: from to from to Chevrolet Silverado 2021 All All All All GMC Sierra 2021 All All All All   Involved Region or Country US and Canada Additional Options (RPO) IOS IOU IOT Condition Some customers may comment of any or all of the following symptoms: Unable to accept Terms and Conditions Unable to access AppShop or install apps in the radio Information within the OnStar app on the radio could be missing or incorrect Unable to create or log into User Profiles Connected Navigation (live traffic, etc.) is not functioning (base navigation functions correctly) Unable to install apps through myChevrolet/myGMC mobile apps Cause This condition could be caused by a calibration anomaly.
  3. Of course there is 7marine. https://www.seven-marine.com/motors/seven-627sv/
  4. Mercury also make a 4.6 supercharged V8 at 450 hp. It’s a Mercury racing motor. It seems like there is a lot more potential for more horsepower in that motor, but with the next closest competitor being a Yamaha at 425 hp that’s enough for now.
  5. Yes, 93 since day one. My truck has ran 13.61 at the track.
  6. I haven't messed with an exhaust on any of my vehicles since my '94 lt1 Caprice Classic that I felt had restrictive manifolds and mufflers and it ended up with headers and flowmasters--no, it didn't sound like a Mustang. My 07 TBSS ran 13.08 with an intake (for sound) and tune only. Stock exhaust. As much as I love the sound of a growling V8, it's very rewarding to me to beat a loud car with a quit car.
  7. I just can't shake the Ricky Bobby thing.
  8. I'm not praising or bashing either of them. But I wasn't happy when my new truck couldn't gain on a Ram from about 40 to 110. I wasn't in sport mode, but didn't think I'd need to be. And since my truck ran 13.61 in the 1/4 it's no factory slug.
  9. Those Rams are no joke unfortunately. I've ran across two new/newer '19 or newer Hemi crew cab trucks and they are quick. One with my '18 6.2 I could barely get around. I also came across a newer Raptor in my 18 and could barely get around it. They weren't dig races, but once moving type of things. I didn't have momentum or the advantage in either event. I ran across a new Ram Crew in my '21 6.2 truck, he was ahead of me, got on it and I couldn't gain on him.

  11. Do you have a link? I only see a 2” top mount spacer. Please and thanks.
  12. Nobody....? I may try eibach adjustable front lift shocks.
  13. I had my ‘15 ccsb 5.3, 6 speed 4x4 with 3.42 gears going 135. It was still climbing at 135, but I let off.
  14. Glad I’m not the only one thinking this. Thought that on my ‘18.
  15. Crew cab short bed, 6.2 10 speed, 3.23 gears. All stock.
  16. Don't really know, it held up plenty of times over 98mph though.
  17. Oh yes. Just took it out real quick to see if it worked.
  18. No other mods. I've heard that about trucks, but had my '15 and '18 to 135 with no issues, didn't want to press my luck any further though for numerous reasons. This new truck will seemingly easily do that also, but didn't want to press my luck again, just wanted to see if the limiter was removed.
  19. Installed a Pulsar LT from Diablo. Limiter was set to 140, my balls shut down at 125...on a closed course of course.
  20. Installed a Gator tonneau cover and went 125 mph in my T1, after installing Pulsar LT. (On a nearby closed course of course).
  21. I wanted it mostly to get rid of the 98 mph top speed governor.
  22. I have a Diablosport Intune 3 that I just took off my 18 Silverado. I'll sell it for $200, could meat you in Hillsdale and show you how to use it.
