    7.3 is right out of the motors guide. It's not my opinon. There are two guys at work here that pulled out my 97 trans in 20 minutes.

    Got the truck to 115 mph today. I have the top speed governer turned off with the inTune. So I just wanted to get it over 99 mph. The truck had more in it, but on a narrow country road with deep ditches and a strong crosss wind, I didn't.

    Well I have to drive it 150 miles or so before I send him a data log. I want to wait till I start burning 93 in it for a while before I send a log to Lew.

    Installed a Diablo inTune. I have a full tank of 87 octane so I just put in the 87 octane tune. After this tank I'm putting 93 octane in and installing the 93 octane tune. I did mess with the trans settings a bit. I don't quite have it the way I want yet, but haven't had much time to mess with it. Overall I'm very happy with how much better it behaves. I got the pkg deal from Lou and after spring rolls around and all the winter additives are out of the local gas I will have Lou work the 93 tune and whatever else he can make better.

    Maybe should change oil and or filter brands.

    The oil pressure sending unit and screen are at the back top of the motor, under the intake manifold, on top of the afm manifold.

    I'm not sure the "manual" transfer case would be exempt from the problem. The manual t-case just uses a lever to send the electronic signal instead of a knob.

    Just make sure you switch to 2wd before you shut it off. Make sure you see the shift complete in display. Truck does not have to be in drive.

    lol. C0398 is covered in the fix in PIP5220B, along with C038D and C0397. The one 5220 does not address is C0326 though, and C0326 is in bulletin 5250 which states there is no fix yet.

    Yes, PIP 5220B. Have the dealer look for this svc bulletin. This bulletin is coming from a dealership. This bulletin will fix most. However, if the problem occurs and has a certion code (can't remember code #) stored, this bulletin will not fix it. If that certion code occurs, it can be cleared and you'll still have to remember to shut off in 2wd.

    There is now an updated reprogram that should fix most of these. I thinks it's 5220B.

    Did you pay for that repair? If you did, you may be able to get reimbursed.

    Take it in. Alot of problems with shutting the vehicle off in below freezing temp in 4wd or auto 4wd, starting back up and being stuck in 4wd with the shift knob display not working. The only thing the dealer can do is clear the codes and tell you to shut the vehicle off in 2wd until they come up with a fix. Per bulletin No. PIP5250

    There is a bulletin extending the warr for the throttle pos sensor causing this issue for 2008-2011 trucks for 10 yrs and/or 120,000 miles.

    Have him show you the bulletin where it's normal. There is a bulletin for the 14's, just because it hasn't inclueded the 15's yet doesn't mean they can't replace the exhaust/fix the 15's.

    I can still get my fingers in the opening. Working on a picture. I don't really like the low profile because it fits inside the the rails instead of on top, even though it does look a little better.

    Not sure where you live, what your weather is like, or if you have park assist. But if you have park assist and the sensors get covered in ice or snow, it will set off the warning chime periodically. Eventually, if snow and ice get too heavy the park assist will shut off and the message will display in info center.

    I got a truxport for mine. Love the way the rear bar wedges into place taking up any slack. Hard to beat for $300.
