  1. It's not too uncommon for GM to update a bulletin down the road to include the next year.
  2. Hopefully they do something with the goofy front end, and the mirrors....and.....
  3. I'd like to see if anybody has one that is covered under this special policy. I ran across a 15 Silverado that has the issue, but does not have the special coverage. It's an LT 4wd 5.3. And the 72,000 miles is BS, For what it's worth, there is a bulletin extending the warranty for the PCV plugging/freezing up and then blowing out the rear main seal on 4cyl Equinox's, Terrains. Every one I've seen come in (eight of them) was out of warranty and ironically not covered under the special policy warranty extension. It fell under the parameters of the bulletin, but the coverage didn't show up under the specific vins.
  4. I was told by a local tuner the Custom trimmed 5.3 with the old afm and a 6 speed can still be tuned. Maybe I’m/they’re wrong.
  5. You could get a 19 Chevy Custom Trailboss with a 5.3 and a 6 speed and put a supercharger on it.
  6. ...or just have an exhaust shop modify the y-pipe (since your getting rid of that eventually anyway) to fit the 6.2 catback. Shouldn't take much.
  7. So will the kit bolt on or not bolt on to an LTZ with trailer/max (with the 3.42 gears) towing package, or is it just not recommended?
  8. Check truck exhaust shops, like big trucks and diesels. I came across a 3 3/4 inside diameter in and out that had a bend that will replace a stock muffler.
  9. Although only a little over a year old, my factory spray in liner has held up very well. It's had numerous metal marine gas tanks slid across the back. still looks like new, when cleaned up.
  10. Apparently the old fluid held too much moisture for these trans’s to work as designed. Basically the new fluid doesn’t hold any/as much water. How? I have no idea. Knock on wood, 19,000 miles and my 8 speed is still an awesome driving shifting transmission
  11. The tilt AND telescoping steering wheel has been an option.
  12. That is pretty bad ass. My 11 year old daughter is on a STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathmatics) team. They build robots out of legos around a programmable control module using various sensors. They are built to perform certian tasks and compete on different levels.
  13. I've seen the new trucks on a lift. There seems to be plenty of room for a larger tank, it seems to be made for a larger tank. Maybe a larger tank will be in the near future.
  14. From what I've seen and heard, the 19 sensors will not work on 18 and prior and the other way around. That goes for the 2500's also.
  15. I put1/4" RC spacers in the front. Unlike my 15, the same lift rubbed the a arm a bit. I was hoping it would make the front wheels not look so sucked in also. Well it doesn't rub anymore, and can kinda tell a bit of diff in looks. No vibrations, no rubbing, I'm good with it.
  16. These pumps also have a check valve that can go bad and allow fuel in line to drain back away from engine causing excessive cranking to start after sitting a while. I would key up the ignition, without cranking the engine, a couple times for a few seconds to get fuel to engine, then crank it and it would usually start quickly.
  17. Mine was clicking about every time I turned, braked.... I had seat frame replaced under warranty a few months ago, and it’s starting to do it again, I’m a bit disappointed, but seeing this makes me feel better about it since this truck won’t be under warranty for ever.
  18. There is supposedly a new fluid yet to come out.
  19. The new fluid is not out yet.
  20. My truck does like the video on start up. Not a 19 but pretty much the same. It's not annoying since it's only on startup, but if it did in on auto stop/start events it may get annoying.
  21. I removed factory step bars and replaced with n-fab bars that I had on my 15, finally. I left the truck with no bars for a few weeks and liked the look, but the kids like the step and these will save the seat edges hopefully. I'll have pics later. I also ordered a set of all black emblems but am debating on installing.
  22. I had the accessory grab handle added to my 15, no gap. I took it off and used it on my 18 and there is a little gap. Maybe a function of headliner shape or reuse....I don’t know. Barely noticeable but I know it’s there.
  23. Great info. I have seen quite a few of these shocks go out lately. Although most that have these vehicles afforded the replacement of originals, but good to know esp when these vehicles get some years on them and not so wealthy people get ahold of them.
