    Are you going for a buy back? If so the dealer will not talk to you anymore. It’s out of there hands and is handled by legal.

    Well than you should ask for a payment to be made. The service Dept/manager can arrange that.

    Has the dealership offered to make a payment for you. If not they should. It doesn’t come out of the dealerships pocket, they just have to request it from GM.

    The strike is only hurting things. The supplier/parts shipping people are on strike too.

    I’m probably in the minority but I think the new 1500s are uglier than the 2500s. Both are fugly but the 2500s to me have a mean ugly look. The 1500s have a quirky awkward look, to me anyway.

    Thanks. A couple of the people I've heard complain about this have said the noise has diminished somewhat over time. Not that that's any consolation.

    Didn't read all 37 pages, but this just came out Aug 6th. Check bulletin PIP5653B. "Some customers may comment on a squeak or chirp noise in 2wd that goes away in 4wd. Bulletin is to replace left axle output shaft.

    I hope they update the lesser trimmed models by maintaining the storage of even an LT. The current set up of going out of the way to delete the armrest storage in a custom is annoying. For some reason it really bugs me.

    I've said that about any "cai". GM didn't spend all that money designing a 375hp (5.3) motor for example, only to throw an intake system together that loses 20 hp and lowers mileage accordingly.

    I can feel the OPs pain. I had a 19 lt for a weekend, and after driving an hour my back was killing me.

    I'm just putting my 2 cents in as being annoyed the lesser trimmed models of couirse don't have some features, which is ok, but it is pretty messed up to delete storage on a vehicle. Of course I'm kinda thinking about getting a Custom Trail Boss next truck, but GM goes and does something like this.... Maybe all the manufactures are doing this, I don't know. Haven't looked yet.

    So I have had a question about the screen blocking. I'm kinda afraid to ask, because I'm not trying to be a smartass and be partaking in the above argument. For what it's worth I'm all for cheap mods. I'd replace or delete a muffler before I paid big money for an aftermarket exhaust system... So does exhaust flow through the screens everybody is blocking off? If so, wouldn't blocking the screens off kinda be restricting exhaust flow?

    Well maybe it is a Silverado thing then, because my truck starts blowing cold air quickly. The ‘19 new styles we have as loaners seem to take a long time to just start blowing cold out the vents.

    I don't think it's a Silverado thing, I think all the vehicles with the new Freon don't cool nearly as well, or at least as fast. It seems to take forever for them to start to blow cold air out of the vents.

    Looks great. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of lawn striping. So you just drag that thing in the pic behind the lawnmower?

    It seems to me that the DC Trail Boss's have too much rake. I think it would look good leveled by lowering the back a little.

    I am thinking it's a five year for free plan back in 14. I'm pretty sure my 15 was that way. Maybe your plan has expired?

    $1679 installed plus tax on parts, just like advertised on web sights. The only thing I’m not sure of is if wheel alignment would be in install price. I can’t imagine it not being included, but if not it’s $60 for an alignment. We have done quite a few lifts and levels and a few 6” lifts and have never had any issues, but honestly have never done this lift kit yet.
