  1. As a dealer installed option one could get the Trail Boss/AT4 suspension lift installed. Available on most trim and options, but there were exceptions.
  2. There was/is a service bulletin for this issue.
  3. It is a legit GM contract. I used to work in service at that Dealership a few years ago (was there about 10 years). However the one in Texas is not related. Also there is no GMPP from back in the day. It was sold off by GM dissolved or whatever. It’s now Chevy Buick GMC Cadillac protection plan. The dealership is great. I left for a substantially more money. if you didn’t buy it already, call and ask for Ryan. You can tell him John asked you too.
  4. Convert it to electric fans.
  5. Glad you’re still out there doing what you do Chris.
  6. …I’d be happy knowing I had 300-400 miles to go once the gas gauge started moving.
  7. Thanks about the truck. As far as the garage goes, that’s the service where I work. I wish I had a garage like that.
  8. Also truck has been lowered. Pic was in old owners driveway. Truck was full of salt after ride home, so I’ll get some better pics. Was never a huge fan of stepsides, but after seeing sooo many rusted out std bed truck it was brought to my attention that stepside beds are fiberglass…no rust. The lack of rust is what I first noticed about this old truck.
  9. Agree about the headlights, and agree about the potential of a really fun truck, relatively easy.
  10. My old Trailblazer was totaled on a slippery day a month or so ago. Lady slid through an intersection I was in. Wasn’t my fault. Anyway, got a rcsb 02 Silverado step side. 2wd, 4.8, 3.42 gears, limited slip,218,000 miles. Truck is great shape inside and out. Has newer GMC wheels with too big of tires. I was looking for a kinda beater vehicle, but this is kinda too nice. Already has an exhaust. Will probably get or make an intake, electric fans…. Probably will remove the cap.
  11. I was having the same problem for a while until I updated my phone, hooks up every time now. It’s an old iPhone 10.
  12. I haven’t tried enough times to verify anything about shift firmness or shift points. But shift points seemed the same. I’ve tried tow haul mode vs sport mode back to back and tow haul was quicker.
  13. My best 0-60 on the draggy is 5.11. Launching in 4wd high in tow haul mode. ‘21 RST CCSB 6.2 3.23 gears. 20” wheels.
  14. The pulsar LT can eliminate start stop (and more importantly the top speed governor).
  15. I believe my truck rides alot better than my 15 or 18. Maybe because the springs are softer. I know that when I lowered my spare tire down and lifted it up, I was surprised how much the truck sagged just from installing the spare tire, I watched the rear bumper go down as I lifted the spare tire back in place. I can't say the springs are adequate or not, but they seem to have "settled" over time.
  16. My ‘21 6.2 and my previous ‘18 6.2 got better gas mileage than my ‘15 5.3. All were ccsb 4x4.
  17. I feel like my 21 6.2 RST has sagged over time. I initially installed a 1.5 front lift, and after install thought I should have went with 2” because back still seemed too high, so I bought a .5 bottom of strut spacer. Never installed it, because soon enough the rear started sagging, so much so that I installed a 1” rear spacer to level it back out. Now it looks like the front is starting to sag, so I may install the .5” front spacer after all.
  18. I am thinking about getting this because of the engine tune, but also for the transmission tune. Does anyone have any input on the good or bad of the transmission tune? Can torque management be reduced…? It’s my opinion, but I feel that performance gains in acceleration can be had in transmission tuning. Also, I believe that once this is installed and modules are unlocked, custom tunes can be installed from an outside tuner. Diablew used to custom tune once he received data logs….
