  1. I get if sales are down on a particular vehicle, whether it’s because GM wants them down or not, and it gets canned. But the fact is that RCSB trucks are being sold overseas, so why not just leave some off the boat and sell them here. If GM rebates the RCSB trucks as much as they do the other configurations it would probably sell. Like I stated earlier, a few years ago an extended/double cab truck that stickered about 7k more than a RCSB actually sold for less than a RCSB due to the rebates on a double/extended and a lack of rebates on a RCSB.
  2. I have a 4" in 4" out offset piece of exhaust piping about 40" long I may just have a muffler shop slide over the 3 1/2 and then make a piece at the back of the the piping to adapt to the 3 1/2 stock piping.
  3. The lack of sales of the Impala bugs me. They hardly ever have decent rebates on them, while the rebate the crap out of the Malibus. When there are good rebates on the Impalas they sell quick. But now they say since low sales, the Impalas are being discontinued. Same with the rcsb trucks. I wanted a cheap truck and there was a reg cab LONG bed low optioned wt. Due to rebates, an ext cab LT/LS truck was less expensive to buy. It's back to what GM wants to sell or wants you to buy.

  5. Don’t know of any software update, but there is an updated wiring harness and connector for the driver seat. There is a bulletin for this, I’ll find it later.
  6. That will be covered under a special policy if nothing else. The whole reservoir will be replaced.
  7. Do you have a pic? I started with a 2” level on my first 14-19 truck and it sat too high in the front. I ordered a 1.5 lift for the front. At $37 I’ll install it and see how it looks and go from there, or maybe leave it.
  8. Thanks. I had an 18 with a 6.2, that trans felt smoother and was definitely quicker out of the whole. The new one feels 500 lbs lighter once moving though.
  9. I’m in agreement with the lack of storage. I miss the center console of my 18. But I knew that goin in.
  10. Does anyone know the actual inlet and outlet dimensions of a stock 6.2 muffler?
  11. Mine only has one flapper, it’s before the muffler. The way the exhaust is welded up it looks like a rear flapper delete from the factory.
  12. The mid engine C8 has a ton of “ hood” clearance.
  13. I would have thought somebody as old as you would be all about chrome.
  14. Agreed. I have a hard time spending that much on an exhaust on an otherwise stock vehicle just for sound.

  16. This truck was actually ordered months ago. I kinda suggested a truck like this to order, because I would like it, while maintaining I was gonna buy my 18 6.2 LTZ Redline when the lease was up. Well I took this truck home for the night and drove them back to back. The rest is now history.
  17. I thought my previous Redline edition truck would look cheap/work truck ish with its black grill and door handles, but actually looked pretty good. Probably because the black was gloss instead rough unpainted plastic. But I know how you like your chrome. I actually do to, but not on the new trucks.
  18. Gotta feeling it’s gonna look a lot like yours.
  19. Just got a ‘21 RST ccsb satin steel 6.2. Leather buckets. I miss some of the things my 18 LTZ 6.2 had but I like some of the new features this truck has. I put Hankook Dynapro AT-2 275/60-20s, I don’t like how narrow the Goodyear Trailrunners look. Truck has the black emblem package, and I have black Z71 fender badges on order. I’m contemplating the accessory black grill, probably gonna do the muffler delete (it’s quieter than a 5.3 truck side by side), and contemplating level/lift. Probably gonna start with just a 1.5” in the front. It’s only $37. If that’s not enough I’ll go 2” in the front and either 1” or 1.5” in the rear and nothing more as far as lift goes.
