  1. Well thanks for that but of info. Lol. Mine actually has 2700 on it..
  2. Just over 2500. Maybe since I beat the crap out of this thing brand new on the test drive, raced a couple other trucks, took it down the track 5 times and did a few instrumented 1/4 mile tests, hopefully thinking a valve spring would have broken by now.
  3. Truck was updated today. Finally. Now I just have to figure out how to organize the apps.
  4. I actually liked my 8 speed more than my current 10 speed. I lifted/leveled my RST 1.5" with a top mount spacer. It's 39 1/4" in the front to top of fender. After measuring about 10 Trail Boss's, it seems about the same height in the front. Mine now sits at about 39 1/4" at all fours.
  5. And look at it this way, at least the issue it's out of the way now. My truck was built in the time frame of the bulletin. I feel like I'm driving a time bomb waiting for the engine to quit running. Not an easy feeling if I go out of town.
  6. It’s probably a spring. I’m kinda amazed how one bad spring will make these things run terrible, not stay running or not run at all.
  7. The longer you wait the more expensive the warranty will be.
  8. I don’t think it’s a spring issue. When one spring goes these direct injected engines, the engine will barely run or not run. How well does the engine run? Just throwing it out there, check the plug wires and make sure they’re all on tight. Hopefully it’s not a lifter issue.
  9. Nice. A friend of mine has a 1948 (pretty sure) Buick Century with a straight eight. It has a somewhat quiet exhaust, but is loud enough to hear and actually sounds really good. He drives it regularly to shows, and is mostly original and in relatively great shape. Cool car.
  10. Y.M.C.A. by the Village People. I play that song every time I get a new vehicle.....

  12. I have a 1.5" procomp top mount strut spacer. I installed it last week, and the truck now sits at 39 1/4 is on all four corners. I tried the bottom spacer but it pushed the shock into the cv boot so I took it off and went with the top mount.
  13. I'm just gonna ask this, but how high are your guys' Trail Boss's in the front at the top of the fender opening? Please. I've measured a few new ones and they are about 39.5". Just wonder if they settle much.
  14. There is a bulletin for this issue. It call for a new endgate latch actuator. PN 84873070 #20-NA-040: Pickup Box Power Endgate May Not Open on Initial Press, or May Not Open at All - (Mar 18, 2020) Subject: Pickup Box Power Endgate May Not Open on Initial Press, or May Not Open at All
  15. Did you try calling Diablo?
  16. Added 1.5” strut top mounted spacer.
  17. Don't forget the price of DEF fluid, frequent fuel filter changes, and the higher price of fuel for the 3.0
  18. It’s off GMs website. I work at a dealership so I have access. Not sure if any other website would have it listed.
  19. I don’t mind the engine shutting off at times to save gas. Like sitting at a long light. So what I do now when I want start/stop off, I put it in tow haul mode, that inhibits start/stop.
  20. I called Diablo and they said the stop/start can not be turned off with the device installed. I only changed the throttle sensitivity once and didn’t like it so I went back to stock. The truck is plenty responsive stock.
  21. I'll trade you my non auto dimming mirror for your dimming mirror.
  22. #PIT5742A: SES MIL / No Start / No Crank / Runs Rough / Reduced Engine Power / Loss Communication / DTCs (V8 and V6 Inspect Engine Harness) - (Jul 29, 2020) Subject: SES MIL / No Start / No Crank / Runs Rough / Reduced Engine Power / Loss Communication / DTCs (V8 and V6 Inspect Engine Harness) Brand: Model: Model Year: VIN: Engine: Transmission: from to from to Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (New Model) 2019 All All LV3, L82, L84, L87 All Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2020 SOP Built Before 2/14/2020 LV3, L82, L84, L87 All GMC Sierra 1500 (New Model) 2019 All All LV3, L82, L84, L87 All GMC Sierra 1500 2020 SOP Built Before 2/14/2020 LV3, L82, L84, L87 All   These concerns could be caused by the engine wiring harness chaffing on the ECM mounting bracket, as shown below. The ECM mounting bracket has a sharp edge (1) and it can cut into the wiring harness. Due to the number of circuits in the harness, there is a wide variety of different symptoms that could occur depending on which circuit(s) are damaged.
  23. What fails is the connector is the connection of the pins in the connector. That connector design doesn't make a good connection for all the pins in the connector. So if and install didn't go smooth, it may have worsened the condition of the connector. I'd recommend to those having problems, apply some dialectic grease to the connectors and see what happens. Maybe I'm wrong, but like I said, I've seen too many issues with these connectors with out being tampered with.
  24. The under hood connector these things plug into is prone to failure. I’ve seen them replaced on about 5 trucks for strange electrical issues similar to what was mentioned above. So it makes me wonder how the failed units were installed. For instance any difficulty getting the connector apart initially and/or any difficulty installing the unit maybe damaging the connector/connector pins inside the factory connector or the device connector and causing some issues.
