  1. Picts show a Rhino line around wheel wells
  2. Sorry, havent been on a while....Is your truck a dually? And you put beads in the tires like me? I had to abandon beads in tires on my 2013 dually, basically the rears tires side by side were fighting each other. I vaccumed out the beads and went back to the lead wheel weights. On my 2500 I havent went and picked up the truck yet but this is what I had done on the 2010.
  3. Doing brakes on a 2013 3500 SRW, these new style "dustless" caliper glide pins are a nightmare. Had to replace 3 calipers do to bottom glide pins being seized inside caliper.
  4. i have trouble with this 2010 dash working, at cold start up after its been sitting days, in under freezing temps. But let it warm up for about 5 minutes, restart the truck and it works. I would think this would be more of a moisture in a relay issue rather than the actual instrument panel...? It is a diesel and alot of battery draw is needed to fire glow plugs and crank the truck in the cold.
  5. put a wooden stake bed on it
  6. I have ran rancho 9000s on the 2500 since 280,000 miles. now to 852,000 miles. This is on a heavy diesel with a 90 gallon fuel tank in the bed, used to pull campers all over North America. The front shocks i set at 6, been on the truck almost 600k miles now. And the rear, which have been replaced a few times do to leaking, I leave at 7. Also have air bags on the rear. The rear ride is bouncy without a trailer, but I am very satisfied with trailering ride. If i wasnt hauling I would perfer the rear to be at 4 or 5 setting. And do to the amount of time i have had the shocks on the truck the plastic dials have siezed. Im afraid to try to turn them.
  7. Putting the new shocks to the test, Did you crawl under there and dial them up while loaded?
  8. well, one of my trucks is partually red
  9. Yesterday old 852k did a dirt drag Its was an 160ft soft, just tilled track, just ran two, 1 truck at a time timed runs only 2 trucks in the heat. first run i screwed up forget the truck was in M mode 1st, time 4.791 Best second run was 4.397 seconds forget i still had traction control on and it did kick in. lost to an old dodge with a hood stack, did 3.992 The guys here say its the 235 tires i have on here that cost me.
  10. I have seen worse...in North Dakota.
  11. With highway tires you would be up to at least 19.5 mpg....
  12. Front shaft is steel with plastic retainers on 2500, rear shaft is aluminum with outer clips
  13. 835379 Changed the rear u joint on front drive shaft. Good thing I had access to a press, though probably should of put more heat on first. Old u joint popped pretty hard. Changed driver side rear tire with one with slightly more tread. Have different set up front, trying to get the most life out of the tires.
  14. Went and Made a delivery in Candyland. Then was charged $13.05 by US border Guards to get out.
  15. This is what the r500 tire looks like after about 58,000 on truck, 19,000 miles on front. 60,500 miles Odometer fronts removed and other 2 spares placed on front. And for a giggle mounted dual up front for pics.
  16. I know it looks bad. Trail around the corner. It was ok. The line to radiator they disconnected for machine didn't click in completely. Simple fix and refill. You can see they tried to cone the area off. But more and more kept driving by.
  17. Also, let truck sit outside this week, driving dually.....was complete last time I checked. About 2 weeks ago. Damn Red squirrels. GM wanted $162 from new hood insulation. Dad had his 2013 hit also. Nowhere near as bad. The 2013 new hood insulation is $65. Just reused his old one. Put a good spraying of Squirrel Stop, mostly peppermint oil, on a engine bays.
  18. Went in for Transmission fluid change. 832,875 miles on truck
  19. Hauling with big red 2013 LGH. Much more driveable truck than LMM Only have one wd hitch arm on, electrical box in way on other side....not the first time one of these factories have mounted something in the way. Hooks on this thing are huge.
  20. Washed both trucks. The 2010 has trim falling off. This came loose behind bug shield, 7 outta 8 clips broken. Think I have to readjust grill. Driverside Corner a hitting. Then the door knocker trim is becoming loose. Gotta stop going to the big truck washes. Just peeled off passenger side. Gotta restick.
  21. Dad got his $75 rebate a few weeks ago. Just Got my Mobil oil rebate check. $255. $330 off these.:wink2:
  22. Hauled $42.50 in singles from auction. Also have about 90 gallons of fuel aboard.
